Chapter 24: Fate cannot be Predicted

Suisui blinked, nodding repeatedly.

"Great! Great! Eldest Auntie is going to have little brothers and sisters for Suisui to play with!"

Back in the Li Family, everyone said she was a jinx incarnate and refused to play with her. The children from her uncles’ families all swarmed around Li Yanyan!

Now, Eldest Auntie was about to give birth to little brothers and sisters, and soon she would have playmates too.

On the bed, Li Suisui rolled about, GIGGLING with delight.

"Grandson, grandson, Grandma is going to hold her big grandson!"

Wang Dongxue blushed so fiercely that she was rendered speechless as Zhu Xiuxiu pushed her out of the room!

"Come! My sweet treasure, Third Auntie will sleep with you!"

Her scheme having succeeded, Zhu Xiuxiu was feeling absolutely delighted.

But then...

"Third Sister-in-law, don’t you have something you should be doing tonight?" At the doorway, Huo Xing’Er’s voice leisurely reached her.

Zhu Xiuxiu was speechless.

"I’m sleeping with Suisui tonight!" Huo Xing’Er walked over and, without another word, climbed right onto Li Suisui’s bed.

Zhu Xiuxiu ground her teeth, wanting to say something to argue her case. However, the image of Huo Xing’Er chopping off a pig’s head inexplicably flashed through her mind, and instantly, she lost her nerve again.

"Second Sister-in-law, you’re too good at intercepting!" Zhu Xiuxiu muttered, then picked up the dazed Xiaosuisui for a hug. "Good night, Xiaosuisui, you must dream of Third Auntie!"

Having said this, she reluctantly let go.

Huo Xing’Er found Zhu Xiuxiu’s behavior quite incomprehensible. However, she had always been a woman of few words and preferred not to meddle in others’ affairs. If Ji Youran hadn’t returned today, she wouldn’t have been compelled to come here and squeeze into a room with Suisui. Huo Xing’Er opened her eyes, looked at her, and for once, smiled. "Second Auntie can’t sleep. Suisui, be good and go back to sleep!"

Xiaosuisui climbed up and, imitating Huo Xing’Er, sat cross-legged, even forming her hands into a meditative posture.

"Second Auntie, what are you doing?"

Read her fate? Xiaosuisui’s face paled upon hearing this. Did Second Auntie dislike her too?

Xiaosuisui was terrified by the sight. "Second Auntie! You’re spitting blood?"

Huo Xing’Er quickly waved her hand. "Your aunt is fine!"
