Chapter 256 - 255 - She heard everything.

I picked up my pen and kept writing until it was time to go to bed. Everything was quiet.

"Everyone must be asleep," I thought.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I took a hot shower and put on some light clothes so I could sleep comfortably.

But as soon as I lay down on the bed, the door opened.

I looked over and saw Hestia entering the room. I smiled and pretended to be asleep. She slowly slipped under my blanket and hugged me. As soon as she hugged me, I hugged her back.

"Are you awake?" she asked.

"Yes."

"Why didn’t you say anything before?"

"I wanted to see what you were going to do. I was expecting you to use that mouth of yours. You’ve done it many times while I was asleep."

"Pervert."

"Hahaha, yes, I’m a pervert."

"...I’m sorry."

"What do you mean?"

"I’m sure you heard everything I told Haruhime about you. I’m sorry for that."

"Why are you bringing this up now?"

"After talking to you, Haruhime came to talk to me. She really liked you. She said you seemed very sincere. I regretted saying all those things about you."

I chuckled and kissed her forehead. "It’s fine. I know I’m a pervert. But I’m trying to change."

"Haruhime is a nice girl. I talked to her a lot. I wouldn’t mind if you won her heart. She seems like a sad woman."

"Sad, huh?" I started stroking Hestia’s hair. "You say that, but I’m sure if I start something with her, you’ll get jealous."

"I’ll get jealous if you make her your priority! I don’t want to be pushed aside!"

"That’ll never happen. You’ll always be the woman I love the most."

That wasn’t a lie.

Hestia had always been my favorite character. And now she’d become my favorite woman. For some reason, I feel way more aroused when I’m having sex with her than when I’m having sex with Lili, Mikoto, or Tione...

The next morning...

When I woke up, Hestia was naked beside me, and the room was a mess. Even though our night started out pretty normal, I ended up going overboard again.

I got up and went to the bathroom.

I washed my face, and just as I was about to leave, Hestia walked in, still naked.

"Good morning, Luan."

She came up to me and kissed me.

"Good morning," I said, smiling. "Wash your face and brush your hair. Let’s head downstairs and make some breakfast."

"Someone probably already made it. It’s kind of late."

"True."

So we didn’t rush. We got dressed, cleaned the room, and went downstairs.

When we arrived, Lili, Mikoto, and Haruhime had already finished eating. They had left some food for me and Hestia on the table, but none of them were sitting anymore.

They were all in the living room, drinking tea and chatting.

"Hey, did you notice the way Haruhime was looking at us?"

"Yeah, I noticed. She definitely heard everything."

The room Haruhime picked isn’t that far from mine. I’m sure she heard everything.

"You think she’ll say anything?"

"No. I don’t think so. She already knows about our relationship, so it probably wasn’t a surprise to her."

"..." Hestia just shrugged and kept eating.

We ate in silence, and once we finished, we went to the living room.

Mikoto and Lili had already left, and only Haruhime was sitting on the couch.

"Good morning," I said to her.

Haruhime’s face turned red. "Good morning," she replied, avoiding eye contact.

She definitely heard everything.

She’s really embarrassed.

"Did you sleep well?" Hestia asked, sitting beside her.

"Yes, I slept very well."

Huff~~ I let out a sigh and chuckled. "Hope we didn’t bother you too much."

Haruhime’s face turned even redder, and she said, "It’s fine. I didn’t hear anything."

"Sure..." She just confirmed she did hear it.

Well, I kind of expected that.

What I didn’t expect was for her to get this embarrassed.

Seeing her act like this is really nice. She’s incredibly cute.

Cough~~ Cough~~ Hestia cleared her throat. "Stop staring at Haruhime like that. You’re going to scare her."

"Alright, alright. I’ll head to my room and get some work done."

I went back to my room and started writing. I wrote for a few hours until I got tired.

I stood up and stretched.

"The second book is basically finished. I think it’s time to write a bit of Re:Zero and Overlord now."

Then the door to my room opened.

"Luan, someone’s calling for you outside. He doesn’t look very friendly."

"Hm?"
