After seeing those strange things in the mirror, I kept thinking about them for a while. However, by the time afternoon came, I had completely forgotten about it. I left the mansion and went to my room.
As soon as I got there, I turned on my computer before throwing myself onto the bed. I opened the first volume of a random light novel I owned called Log Horizon. I remember buying it a long time ago, but I never actually read it.
After reading just three pages, I gave up.
I yawned and sat down in front of the computer. Then, I opened my status window.

A favorability system. The protagonist needs to do things to increase his favorability with the girls and win them over. Something like a dating simulator. Itās completely unknown in this world, but very common to me.
There were lots of amateur novels about this on the internet back in the day. There were even fanfics with that theme.
I still remember seeing a DanMachi fanfic like that once.
"DanMachi: Date Sin System."
"I think that was the name." It was a pretty catchy title, so it had lots of readers. But I never actually read it, since I was never too interested in stories that focus purely on romance.
Unless they had a lot of adult content.
I smiled and kept typing. I had already written two full volumes so far ā each around 250 to 300 pages ā a decent size for a light novel. I want to finish the whole story before showing it to Elma.
Even if Elma says she wonāt publish it because it wonāt sell, I donāt mind. Iām really enjoying writing it.
So, I kept typing. After several pages of pure development with just one girl, I finally had the chance to write a pretty spicy scene. I donāt have much experience with that kind of thing, but I managed to write it quite well.
So well that even I, the author, started to feel a little turned on.
Thatās when the door to my room opened.
It was Hestia.
"You came at the perfect time," I said, smiling at her.
Time to farm some points so I can buy "internet."

Some time had passed since my conversation with Luan. I think itās time to give him my answer, isnāt it? Iāve spent the past few days thinking about what to say when I meet him again. I still donāt know what the right words are.
Should I say Iāll accept him being with other women besides me? Thatās such a strange thing to say.
Should I just say, "I want to stay by your side"? But that sounds too simple.
Well, I guess Iāll know what to say once I see him.
I was getting ready to leave the Loki Familia mansion when someone called out to me. I turned around and saw Goddess Loki staring at me. For the past few days, sheās been practically stalking me.
Every time I leave the house, she comes to me and says the same thing.

Luan has already had lunch at the Loki Familiaās home, and heās met the goddess several times... Why does she hate him so much? What did he do? Even though I keep asking her what happened between the two of them, she never tells me.

When the goddess opened her mouth to speak, I said first,

"Then you know what you have to do."
"Not meet with Luan."
"Yes, donāt meet that man. I know whatās going through your head. I donāt want you to do this." What does she mean by that? Does she know the decision I made?
But I never even told her about Luanās proposal.
She doesnāt even know that Luan is going to get married.

"Donāt stay silent. I want you to say you wonāt meet that man."
"..."
"Fine. Do whatever you want."
Sheās not going to try to stop me or anything?
The goddess walked past me and out the front door. After she closed it, I stayed there for a while, standing still. Then I turned and looked up at the ceiling. "I need to talk to Tiona." I need to find out if she told the goddess everything thatās been going on.
I quickly went upstairs and reached her room. After knocking a few times, the door opened.
Tiona saw me, and her eyebrows rose in surprise. She looked shocked since I rarely come to her room.
"Can we talk?"
"Of course. Come in," she replied.
I stepped inside and waited for her to close the door. Once it was shut, I asked, "Did you tell the goddess whatās going on?"
"About Luan and the two of us? No, I didnāt tell her. Why?"
"Then why does the goddess hate him so much?"
"Why does she hate Luan?" Tiona thought for a moment before saying, "Maybe because she really likes you and doesnāt want you getting involved with him?"
"Does that even make sense?"
"Well... Iād say Goddess Loki loves you. Isnāt it obvious?" Tiona said, then laughed. "But thinking about it, the hatred she feels for him does seem really strong. I wonder what happened."
"When Luan was here, did he do something that bothered the goddess?"
"I donāt remember anything. Maybe Tione knows what happened?"
"Tione?"
"Yeah. I remember seeing them together a few times. Maybe theyāre close friends or something?" Tiona said, shrugging.
"Close friends?" I tilted my head.
Tione being close friends with Luan? Thatās... surprising.
