It was six o’clock in the evening when Xu Youning finished her work. She called the CEO office of MJ Technology and the secretary told her that Mu Sijue was still working, and presumably, he wouldn’t be leaving for another two to three hours.

Hesitating for half a minute, Xu Youning called home, and asked Aunt Sun to take care of her granny, saying that she wouldn’t be home so soon. Then, she drove to MJ Technology.

At that point, most of the employees from the different departments had left. Only the assistants and secretaries of the CEO’s office were still working overtime with Mu Sijue.

Chief secretary Nina whispered, “Mr. Mu hasn’t been in his best mood today. If you have bad news, tell him tomorrow, or he might take it out on you.”

“Mu Sijue always takes it out on you guys?” Xu Youning asked.

“No, not really.” Nina shook her head. “But Mr. Mu is one of those people who shows his emotions. It is pretty obvious. He wouldn’t take it out on us. But, it’s just that he looks gloomy when he’s not in a good mood, as if he were about to lose it anytime soon. It’s way creepier than him lashing out on us. I’d rather he would just get it out of his system.”

Xu Youning smiled gently, “I have my ways. Just tell him I’m here.”

Nina hit the extension number. “Mr. Mu, Miss Xu’s here.”

Silent for two seconds, Mu Sijue said coldly, “Let her in.”

Xu Youning was about to open the door of the CEO’s office when the door was suddenly opened. A woman in a suit with her legs showing walked out hurriedly.

The top of her shirt was unbuttoned. Cleavage was showing. Her lipstick was smushed and her hair was a bit messy…

Xu Youning was thinking that she had definitely arrived at a bad time.

But then, she still couldn’t help but look at the woman from head to toe—she was taller. She had bigger boobs. She dressed sexier than her—No wonder Mu Sijue couldn’t hold it in while at the office.

Xu Youning didn’t want to admit that she was jealous and strode into the office.

Since he had had meeting that day, Mu Sijue was decent in a suit with his hair tidied up. His well-built body couldn’t be shown while sitting in the black office chair, but that didn’t reduce his noble aura.

Just then, he had an intense sex round. But everything about him, from head to toe, was tidy. And he still looked superior and murderous, which reminded Xu Youning of an expression: a monster in disguise!

No matter how complicated she felt on the inside, she still respectfully addressed him on the outside, “Seventh Brother.”

Mu Sijue raised his head slowly and saw Xu Youning was carrying the bag. He leaned back on the chair, with his arms folded, “You like it?”

“It’s alright.” Xu Youning sounded plain.

She had less interest than Su Jianan in purses and clothes.

For her, there was no difference between a designer’s bag and a bottle of water.

That was the first time Mu Sijue had ever given somebody a present and he got a ‘It’s alright,’ which totally deviated from his expectation.

Xu Youning didn’t notice that Mu Sijue was annoyed. And even if she noticed it, she was telling the truth; she would not lie about it. Besides, she went there with a question, “Mu Sijue, why… why did you buy me stuff?”

It was unclear and unnatural when seeing Mu Sijue’s facial expression. He then sneered, trying to conceal the awkwardness of his reaction. “Do I need explain my actions to you?”

“…”

Xu Youning was speechless.

Indeed, he was Mu Sijue, a guy who intimidated the real big shots. Did he need to explain things to people?

No, not at all. As long as he was satisfied, and as long as he was willing to, he could be the boss and do whatever he wanted.

Xu Youning felt that it had been useless for her to go there. She shook the purse and asked, “Then, thanks. I am taking it. See you.”

As soon as she turned around, Mu Sijue stopped her, sounding annoyed. “Come back!”

Xu Youning took a deep breath and slowly turned around, “Seventh Brother, is there anything else?”

She turned and realized that Mu Sijue was already in front of her. She was shocked and wanted to step back. But Mu Sijue suddenly clasped her wrist.

“I can show you.”

He said, and kissed Xu Youning.

That was his office. Xu Youning had no fear and thought that Mu Sijue would stop at some point. But the truth was that she was being naive. The kiss was getting hotter and Mu Sijue’s hands were all over her. She was like a lamb about to be slaughtered.

God knows how long that was. Xu Youning pushed him away and gave him an angry gaze with her misty eyes. “This is the office.”

Indifferently, Mu Sijue took the remote control on the coffee table and pressed a button. The color of the glass on the floor-to-ceiling window suddenly changed. It was obvious that the glass had become translucent. They could see what was out there clearly from the inside but it was blurry to see things in here from the outside.

“Do you still have any requirements?” Mu Sijue looked at Xu Youning relaxingly.

Xu Youning didn’t believe that Mu Sijue would care about what she really wanted. She bit her lips and said, “Haven’t you just… Are you sure you are still capable to…?”

Mu Sijue frowned and stared at Xu Youning dangerously. “What did I do?”

Xu Youning closed her eyes and blurted out, “When I came in, I saw a woman coming out with her walk of shame! Do I need to be clearer?”

Mu Sijue sensed the jealousy from her tone.

The haze in his heart disappeared. Unlike the usual, he explained, “She was fired.”

“…” Xu Youning looked surprised. “Was she so bad in bed?”

Mu Sijue knew clearly that Xu Youning was intentionally misinterpreting what he meant. He hugged her and said, “One more rule will be added to our employee’s handbook.”

Xu Youning asked confusedly, “What rule?”

Mu Sijue said every single word clearly, “Seducing the boss is strictly prohibited.”

That time, Xu Youning was really surprised.

That woman took the initiative to, uh, seduce Mu Sijue and got fired?

Xu Youning had a chill on her back and struggled, “Seventh Brother, can you let go of me? I don’t want to get fired.”

“What’s the rush? I haven’t finished talking.” Mu Sijue’s became profound. He continued, “You can be the exception.”

Xu Youning didn’t feel good about being the exception. Exception meant that she needed to take action first!

She completely regretted going there but she couldn’t get away from him, so she tried to distract his attention, “Seventh Brother, weren’t you busy? Maybe I should… hmm…”

Before she finished speaking, she was lifted up and kissed.

Mu Sijue held her, with her back against the rest room. “Xu Youning, you came onto me first, and now you want to go?”

“I didn’t…”

Xu Youning swore that she just went to ask Mu Sijue why he had given her the purse. She never wanted things to go that way!

But Mu Sijue stopped her explanation by kissing her.

Eventually, she couldn’t avoid the sex.

The only thing Xu Youning was thankful for was that she didn’t pass out that time.

At the end, Mu Sijue stared at her and smiled lightly. “You’re getting better.”

Xu Youning didn’t feel a sense of accomplishment by being complimented on. If she had the nerve, her fist would be on Mu Sijue’s face right then!

The more she was annoyed, the happier Mu Sijue was. He ordered, “Get up. I’ll send you home.”

Xu Youning didn’t want to go out with Mu Sijue. Although she had been in his office so long that the secretaries outside would probably sense something weird between them, she still wanted to delude herself, so as not to feel embarrassed the next time she went there.

Mu Sijue saw through Xu Youning’s thoughts at one glance. He followed her, walking out of the office as if nothing had happened. When they walked past the secretaries’ office, Nina glanced at them and called the driver to be on standby.

As soon as the two got into the elevator, the secretaries gathered and gossiped, “Nina, are Mr. Mu and Miss Xu together?”

“No way…” Another secretary said. “Miss Xu is not Mr. Mu’s cup of tea. Mr. Mu likes those pretty women with model’s bodies. Like Lin Lin, the one he just kicked out of the office.”

“You just said it. Lin Lin was kicked out by Mr. Mu.” Nina glanced at the door of the CEO’s office. “Maybe it has been a while for Mr. Mu and his taste changed?”

“Now that you mention it, it’s weird that Mr. Mu has had no dates for the past two months. And recently, there has only been Miss Xu.” One of the secretaries felt terrified. “Is Mr. Mu serious this time?”

Among all the secretaries, Nina knew Mu Sijue the best. She also thought that there was no way that Mu Sijue would get serious, but… “Mr. Mu doesn’t seem to be just fooling around this time.”

In the meantime, Xu Youning and Mu Sijue got off the elevator. Mu Sijue rarely opened the car door for Xu Youning like a gentleman would do. “Go in.”

Xu Youning got into the car, and Mu Sijue got on the other side and asked the driver to take Xu Youning back first.

There weren’t many cars on the road late at night. There were no sounds in the car. Xu Youning was fine with that. She closed her eyes and rested.

She was exhausted after all the things that happened.

As she almost fell asleep, she sensed that the car stopped and heard Mu Sijue say, “Xu Youning. It’s here.”

Xu Youning woke up; she rubbed her eyes, thanked the driver and was about to get off. Suddenly, Mu Sijue stopped her. “Wait.”

She turned back. “What do you need?”

“I’m leaving for a few days,” Mu Sijue said in a serious way. He paused, but only told her, “You will be in charge of things in City G.”

Xu Youning said, “Oh, don’t worry, I’ll contact you if there are any problems.” She recalled the task entrusted to her by Kang Ruicheng and asked with hesitation, “Where are you going? Business meeting?”
