Nina Jacobs naturally guessed their intentions.
Outside the cave entrance, there should only be two Space Superpower Users. Without Magnus York, Alistair White, and the others for protection, the two of them were like a pair of wide-open treasure chests.
It was no wonder these people were getting ideas.
The sounds of fighting soon came from outside.
Nina Jacobs had no intention of getting involved.
As she passed by the hole in the ground again, Nina Jacobs clearly sensed something flash past below.
She stopped, gazing thoughtfully at the opening.
Wayne Warner looked at her, then glanced down, as if asking whether they should go down.
Nina Jacobs shook her head, then reached out and released a Little Zombie Rat.
Once the ratâs vision adjusted to the darkness, Nina Jacobs discovered the bottom of the hole was immeasurably deep.
The rugged walls were perfect for the little rat to climb.
Nina Jacobs controlled it, continuing to explore downward. After a while, a glimmer of light actually appeared in the ratâs field of vision.
The light looked like natural light from outside.
The light hit the stone wall at the very bottom. When she saw the situation below, even Nina Jacobs wore a shocked expression.
She grabbed Wayne Warner and ran for the exit.
"Letâs get out of here first. Itâs dangerous."
The bottom of the hole was swarming with a dense mass of Mutated Weasels.
They stood there silently, heads raised, as if waiting for something.
Nina Jacobs was horrified.
âSo the swarm of Mutated Weasels we met outside wasnât all of them.â
âThe bottom of that hole is the Mutated Weaselsâ true nesting ground!â
ROAR!
Just as the two of them ran out, they came face-to-face with a zombie.
The zombieâs appearance was clearly that of Ian Logan, who had just run out.
And not far away, there were still sounds of fighting.
Nina Jacobs used a Stone Spike to take care of the zombified Ian Logan directly.
As the two of them emerged from behind a large rock, they discovered it was Adrian Shaw and his group.
They were killing zombies.
"Donât kill them yet!"
Although Nina Jacobs didnât know what had happened outside while she was controlling the Little Zombie Rat, she could roughly guess.
Eryx Rhodes and the other Space Superpower User must have used the zombie virus from their pocket dimensions while fighting off Ian Loganâs group.
But then something must have happened, and they all turned into zombies.
"Are you okay?"
A look of delight crossed Holden Shawâs face, and in the next second, he was right in front of Nina Jacobs.
"Iâm fine. Youâve come at the perfect time."
Nina Jacobs said.
It wasnât just Adrian Shawâs group; Trevor and his people had also rushed over.
Including Lucasta Moreau.
"Weâre not killing these zombies?"
Leo Hale relaxed upon seeing that Nina Jacobs was unharmed.
They had followed after discovering Nina Jacobs had been taken.
But along the way, they ran into Trevorâs group, who had been following the signs.
"Itâs good that youâre okay."
Trevor also breathed a sigh of relief. On their way here, they had seen many corpses gnawed down to the bone.
Since they were just skeletons, it was hard to identify them.
Even though they knew Nina Jacobs was formidable, they couldnât help but worry.
"Gnawed down to the bone? I see."
Nina Jacobs was a little stunned. She clearly remembered that when they left, most of the corpses had only had their brains sucked out.
âIt seems other Mutated Weasels came to clean up after we left.â
Listening to the roars of the remaining few zombies, Nina Jacobs had Adrian Shaw leave only two of them alive.
"These two are Space Superpower Users, and theyâre Magnus Yorkâs people."
As soon as Nina Jacobs finished speaking, Shirley Lucasâs eyes lit up.
âSpace Superpower Users from The Aegis Conclave? Theyâre bound to have a lot of good stuff!â
"I canât believe we get to pick up free stuff as soon as we arrive."
After speaking, Shirley Lucas had Beckett Abbott bind the two zombies with vines.
As for the next steps, he was all too familiar with them.
"Where are Magnus York and her people?"
Nathan Moreau asked impatiently.
"Still inside, fighting over loot. But they probably wonât be able to worry about that for much longer."
Nina Jacobs gave them a rough summary of the situation inside.
"I never would have guessed it was weasels."
Trevor was still a bit surprised.
It sounded like those little weasels were even more dangerous than a Mutant Tiger.
"There are too many of them. Itâs impossible to defend against them all."
Nina Jacobs said.
"I really want to kill Magnus York with my own hands."
Nathan Moreau clenched his fists.
"If she doesnât die in there, Iâll help you."
Lucasta Moreau had followed because of what Greg Unger and Aaron Axton had said; he was very worried that the Gloomfang at the bottom of the cliff would be opened by ignorant outsiders.
Because he knew what terrifying Mutated Animals were hidden inside the Gloomfang.
He had thought Nina Jacobsâs group had caused trouble, but unexpectedly, the Gloomfang had been completely cleared out, both inside and out.
Not only that, but the ferocious Mutated Animals at the bottom of the cliff had also been mostly eliminated.
Only then did he realize that these newcomers were different from what they had imagined.
"Should we wait for them to come out before we go in?"
Adrian Shaw asked.
But it sounded like the chances of those people making it out were slim.
"You all wait for me here."
After speaking, Nina Jacobs waved her hand, creating a large Diamond Sand Cover that shielded everyone inside.
In the Little Zombie Ratâs vision, the Mutated Weasels had already begun to move.
She didnât want to miss this golden, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
"Whyâd she leave so quickly?"
Shirley Lucas really wanted to follow Nina Jacobs and see what was happening.
A series of human screams echoed from within the cave.
Magnus York watched in horror as one Mutated Weasel after another emerged from under a rock.
Her battle with Alistair White had already drained a large amount of her Superpower.
But at this moment, she couldnât afford to worry about that. Her Thunder Element Superpower instantly hacked down toward the space beneath the rock.
The rock immediately shattered, and a group of Mutated Weasels was killed instantly.
However, even more Mutated Weasels swarmed out from that spot.
"Magnus, we might not make it out of here today."
Ben Lawson said with a bitter smile.
"Donât be ridiculous. Whereâs Alistair White?"
Only then did Magnus York realize that Alistair White was gone.
âThat damn Speed Element Superpower.â
"If you manage to get out, donât fight with him anymore. In the organization, itâs about who can live the longest, not whoâs the strongest."
Ben Lawson said.
"Donât worry. Since I brought you here, Iâll definitely get you out."
Magnus York said while killing the Mutated Weasels.
"Itâs too late. Goodbye, Magnus."
Hearing this, Magnus York whipped her head around to see several Mutated Weasels crawling all over Ben Lawson.
BANG!
The Thunder Element Superpower in her hand smashed down around Ben Lawson.
But Ben Lawson still collapsed before her eyes.
"No!"
Magnus York screamed.
A Thunder Protection Shield enveloped her and Ben Lawson.
Ben Lawson had already taken his last breath.
Two large holes had been drilled into his skull by two different Mutated Weasels.
Only then did Magnus York suddenly realize that in this part of the cave, which had been packed with people just moments ago, she was now the only one left.
A dense swarm of Mutated Weasels continuously slammed into her Thunder Protection Shield.
And the Thunder Protection Shield was visibly weakening.
Just then, a brilliant Fire Serpent shot over from the side!
Magnus York looked over. It was Summer Warner.
The Fire Serpent was incredibly fast, sweeping up group after group of Mutated Weasels.
In the next moment, the Mutated Weasels on the ground were all engulfed by the Fire Element Superpower.
More than ten minutes later, the cave fell silent.
Only the choking smell of burnt flesh remained.
Magnus York started to laugh. "So this is what it means to escape by the skin of your teeth... what it means to escape by the skin of your teeth..."
She stared at the scene before her, as if she still couldnât believe things had turned out this way.
"Why didnât you help sooner?"
Magnus York looked at Summer Warner.
A Thunder Sword materialized behind Summer Warner and shot straight for the back of her head!
