With that, Spirit gently took Carmille’s hand and turned, leading her towards the nearby forest.

The layout of the manor was ingenious. It was clear Lin Haifeng—or rather, his subordinates—had put a great deal of thought into it.

The air circulation system in Eternal Sky City was excellent. Despite being at such a high altitude, there wasn’t the slightest sensation of oxygen deprivation.

Lying in the small garden, Wen Yu reflected on his past two days.

Cyclops loved to wreak havoc on the small plants in the garden. Star enjoyed lounging on the sofa watching ’Tom and Jerry.’ Victor preferred standing on the roof, keeping watch, though Wen Yu had to manage all their eating, drinking, and waste disposal. Aside from these quirks, everything else was perfect.

A full three seconds later, the limping Cyclops finally emerged, grumbling and reluctant, allowing Wen Yu to scoop him up into his arms. An unwilling expression was plastered on Cyclops’s face.

The cat-dog fight—a decisive victory for the cat!

At least for now, Cyclops had no way of turning the tables...

Meanwhile, the distant footsteps grew steadily clearer.

"Sir, are we ready to depart?"

"Let’s go."

Wen Yu signaled the soldier ahead to lead the way. He then took out his communicator and issued a Gather All command to Qin Tian and the others.

The others lived nearby, so by the time Wen Yu and the soldier leading the way reached the main gate of the manor, Qin Tian and his group of four were already waiting outside.

"We’ve prepared residences for all of you sirs downstairs, along with a large courtyard. The rights to their use have been completely transferred to you, so you are free to do with them as you please."
