"Whew..."
Liang Kuan exhaled a long breath, and the three-foot white dragon dissipated into thin air.
In almost an instant, sweat soaked through the entire tactical suit.
The whole person seemed like a war machine, madly radiating terrifying heat in all directions.
Mountain Goat, who got closer, felt the heatwave and his face twitched.
"Deal with the wounds first."
Liang Kuan looked down at himself and found several bloody holes in his chest.
With a wave of his giant fan-like hand, he tore off his combat suit, and his muscles wriggled as three deformed bullets were forcibly squeezed out, clinking as they hit the ground.
"No time left."
Liang Kuan moved forward, rain washing over his burly body, turning into steaming mist enveloped around him due to the heat of his flowing blood.
The soldiers quickly moved aside.
Liang Kuan grabbed the edge of the shield embedded in the troop carrier with one hand, and with a little force, amidst a screeching noise, pulled out the shield that four Evolvers couldnāt move.
Just then, a whistling wind suddenly came from the rear right.
A scorching fire dragon rushed several hundred meters, turning the rainy night into a resounding blaze, creating a blanket of pale white.
The faint screams made oneās heart shiver with fear.
Mountain Goat was stunned, "Is that..."
"Lin Jinās evolution speed is really fast."
A slightly surprised sigh and the sound of running reached Mountain Goatās ears, and just from this sound, a mental image formed of a figure in an exoskeleton sprinting wildly through the rain.
"Boom!"
Six octopus-like mechanical arms descended onto the square with a mechanical puppet, then dropped the body and retracted the arms from the ground.
"Captain Yu, you guys came too?"
Mountain Goat looked in shock at the shadows at the edge of the square.
Yu Jing, wearing the [Engineer-II] model, slowly emerged from the rain, the water splashing off the exoskeleton tracing a circle of cold light, with bright orange fluorescent stripes.
"Yes, we just arrived, still much later than you."
Mountain Goat suddenly noticed Yu Yue appearing behind him, wiping rainwater off her forehead with the back of her hand.
In her hand was a 1.8-meter sniper rifle, tilted downward, pointing slantingly at his heel.
The sound of splashing footsteps accompanied the howling wind.
Qu Hang and Lin Jin approached in succession, rainwater scattered by the flames, and if observed carefully, invisible gusts of wind could be seen fanning the fire.
Mountain Goat was slightly amazed.
Originally thought they would charge in, but didnāt expect the teammates to be so capable.
In just fifteen minutes, all three teams were assembled.
But this doesnāt mean Black Kite was too weak, only that the setup was overpowered.
As a senior battlefield commander, He Jie was certainly no simpleton who only knew to charge, each team setup was meticulously thought through.
Liang Kuan, with Tier Two strength, might fall short of a genuine Tier Two Evolver, but he could easily handle a Tier One.
Yu Jingās puppet, Lin Jinās potential, both held the combat power to reach Tier Two.
However, He Jie was always skeptical of the latter. Lin Jin hadnāt yet shown Tier Two strength, but He Jie trusted the train conductor enough to risk it, putting him alongside Qu Hang.
One controls wind, the other fire, they can surely make a good combination.
Lin Jin panted heavily, "Arrived just in time."
Mountain Goat nodded, turning to look solemnly at the half-collapsed but still enormous theater in front of him.
"Captain Yu, can you hear inside?"
Yu Yue shook her head, "There are people inside, but my ability is suppressed by something, the sensing is unclear, what about you?"
Mountain Goatās eyes were blank, "Very dangerous."
Just as he spoke, shirtless Liang Kuan already stepped onto the stairs carrying the shield.
"Old Liang is really anxious..."
Yu Yue sighed slightly, "Heās been anxious all along."
...
Armed train.
Su Reya sat on the bed in loose pajamas, leisurely trimming her nails with a nail clipper while every so often a muffled cannon shot echoed from outside the train, causing it to jolt sharply.
Her pale figure was barely concealed.
"Knock, knock."
The dormitory door was knocked, and Su Reya raised an eyebrow, "The doorās unlocked, come in."
The door was pushed open, a fair-skinned man stood at the door, his eyes like having natural eyeliner.
His eyes tightened seeing Su Reyaās graceful figure on the bed, he raised his foot wanting to enter.
"Stop there!"
Su Reya gave him a sidelong glance, grabbing a robe beside her to cover herself.
She scolded sharply, "Are you looking to die, coming to my place in the middle of the night instead of staying in your room, what do you want?"
The man was disappointed as the view was blocked, retracting his gaze, "Just came to see if you joined the battle."
"What are you thinking, this time weāre up against Black Kite, itās good enough they didnāt lock us up beforehand, let alone join the fight, I donāt even trust myself, let alone the train."
The manās eyes flickered, "Weāre at least Tier One Evolvers..."
"Stop it," Su Reya said irritably, "Donāt overact, Tier Oneās just relatively better, but in a battle between giants like Black Kite and the armed train, weāre just little ants going with the flow, Iām living fine now, not looking to die."
The man laughed, "I have no such messed up thoughts, just worried about the trainās future."
At these words, Su Reya instinctively recalled herself all drenched, kneeling in front of that tyrant, those eyes colder than a flood.
Could he suffer a loss?
This time Mr. Shu must have gone out with not even his briefs left...
Biting her lip, she suddenly felt a tingling numbness from nervousness at her fingertips.
