It didn’t take long for Alice to appear on the stage of the battle arena with another girl. They first glanced at each other, then looked around.

The second girl looked clearly embarrassed to be standing in front of such a crowd, while Alice seemed to be searching for her brother.

After a bit of looking, she managed to spot both her brother and her teacher among the spectators watching her. A smile appeared on her face, and her eyes lit up with a radiant glow.

"The battle begins," the middle-aged man floating in the sky calmly announced.

"Are you an idiot? Do you want me to beat you half to death?" Alice snorted and mocked, making the boy’s expression darken.

"I’m the son of the guild leader’s vice commander! If you don’t surrender and let me win, I’ll make sure you get kicked out of the guild." Jack spoke quietly, making sure only Alice could hear.

"Really? That’s actually great news. Then I can finally join my brother’s guild." Alice sneered with a laugh.

She knew exactly who this idiot was. Despite his nonsense, he didn’t have the power to do anything against her. After all, her teacher was also an influential figure in the guild.

Even if they did kick her out, so what? She wouldn’t be losing anything and could just join the Everlight Moon Guild instead.

Jack’s face darkened even more. He didn’t actually have the power to expel this girl. Not even his father had such authority. He had only wanted to scare her, but apparently, he couldn’t even do that.

"You may begin the match," the middle-aged man’s voice echoed.

His hand hurt terribly, and after letting out a cry, he quickly pulled back.

"No way! How is your body this strong?!" He stared at the girl with a trace of fear.

"Unlike some people, I train a lot," Alice lazily replied before she moved forward.

In an instant, she appeared before Jack, and before he could even react, she smashed a heavy punch into his face. But she didn’t stop with one punch—she followed up with ten, then a hundred more, until his face was completely battered, like a beaten pig.

"This is for you to learn to stay away from Tiana," Alice whispered in a terrifying tone into Jack’s ear before letting him go.

This bastard actually liked Tiana and would occasionally harass her. They couldn’t do anything against him, so Alice decided to use this perfect chance to beat him up.

"The winner is Alice Noir."

The middle-aged man landed on the ground, checked on Jack, and sighed in relief once he was sure the boy was still alive.

He glanced at Alice, intending to reprimand her for being too ruthless, but at that moment, he noticed a powerful gaze locked onto him.

It wasn’t hard to guess—it was definitely her teacher. So he could only sigh and announce the winner before flying back into the sky.

"I didn’t expect that girl to be so ruthless."
