“Thank you priest for saving me.” The old man was really weak. He forced open his eyes and said gratefully.

The old priest smiled too, “There is no need to thank me. Since your grandfather is awake, then we shall leave this place.”

“Priest, may I bother you to help me collect the snake’s neidan. I came for the neidan. Xiaoya’s mother has been poisoned and is unconscious and we need this five-colored serpent’s neidan to save her.” Xiaoya’s grandfather begged.

Xiaoya also knelt down in front of the old priest, “Grandfather Priest, please save my mother, we really need the neidan.”

The old priest agreed right away and hugged her. “You don’t need to kneel for me. You are so cute, so I will obviously agree. Take care of your grandfather. I will go get the neidan.”

The old priest looked towards Xiaoya’s grandfather Tian Yun.

Tian Yun laughed bitterly and said, “Not only that. There exists the love between a rich family and a poor boy, but her family objected. They hunted them down, and now, even Xiaoya’s father is gone and her mother has been poisoned.”

The old priest sighed. “This is even more far fetched than I imagined.”

“But the kid is innocent.” The old priest looked at the sad and lonely Xiaoya and raged.

“Xiaoya’s grandfather wanted to snatch her away. I don’t know what they want to do but she is my granddaughter. Now that her father is lost and her mother has been poisoned, as her grandfather, I need to protect her.” Tian Yun said firmly.

“Not bad, you are responsible. Don’t worry Xiaoya, once I enter Eternal Land, you can contact me if you face problems. I will definitely help you solve it.” The old priest patted his chest.

“Is that so?” Xiaoya and Tian Yun looked at the old priest in surprise.

“Of course, I am really strong, even… even if I can’t solve it, don’t you still have your Granddad Deity?” The old priest said to Xiaoya.
