We still need another heavy blow to incapacitate the Water Pig Tyrant from any recovery in the short term... Qiao Sang thought cautiously and said:
"Freeze pig."
With just one thought from Lubao, the Water Pig Tyrant was once again encased in ice.
Wu Tianjiao: "???"
What is this? Isnât the Water Pig Tyrant already done for... Everyone looked puzzled.
Almost at the moment the Water Pig Tyrant was frozen, a loud "boom" resounded from high in the sky, and lightning like black snakes appeared once again within the dark clouds.
Unlike before, during the stormy weather, the power of the lightning is even more formidable.
Wu Tianjiao looked up at the sky and quickly understood Qiao Sangâs intention, her face changing several times.
Although the Water Pig Tyrant was knocked down, if the lightningâs power is strong enough, it might break the ice seal effect, allowing rainwater to fall on the Water Pig Tyrant.
From the commentary stand, Tian Yiwang said:
"Ice Emperor Ram has frozen the Water Pig Tyrant again!"
Tang Xueran analyzed:
"Qiao Sangâs strategy is to prevent the lightningâs strong power from unfreezing the ice seal and allowing rain to fall on the Water Pig Tyrant, aiding its recovery."
Oh, so thatâs the reason... Only now did the audience come to their senses.
Following that, everyone had peculiar expressions:
Isnât this a bit too cautious? Is the water storage attribute really that strong? The Water Pig Tyrant clearly has already fallen.
On the field.
"Boom!!!"
Lightning struck down, numerous bolts of yellow lightning combined with the torrential rain furiously fell from the thunder clouds.
Where it passed, the half-frozen rainwater exploded, splattering water downwards.
Currently, the Water Pig Tyrant is in a frozen state, its aura concealed.
Several extremely thick lightning bolts descended from above toward its location.
Qiao Sang closely watched the timing of the lightning strike and shouted:
"Release!"
Lubao monitored the damage from the lightning while focusing on the opponentâs location.
In 0.01 seconds after her Beast Tamerâs command, it acted on its thought.
The ice shell on the Water Pig Tyrant disappeared instantly.
"Bang!!!"
With a loud crash, the lightning struck hard upon the Water Pig Tyrant.
Wu Tianjiao: "!!!"
The falling rain continued to freeze on the ice shell, getting split by the lightning and then refreezing into ice, yet still, numerous droplets splattered on the Water Pig Tyrantâs body.
Soon, another layer of ice shell formed on the Water Pig Tyrantâs body.
Not again... Wu Tianjiao was already in despair.
At this rate with Ice Emperor Ram, even if the Water Pig Tyrant has an S-rank water storage attribute, it wonât have any chance of recovering.
Just as she contemplated surrendering voluntarily, the lightning in the high sky ceased once more.
"Thatâs enough." Qiao Sang promptly said.
The Cold Ice Energy on Lubao dissipated.
The temperature on the field warmed up, and the ice shell vanished.
The rain was still falling, but it wasnât as heavy as before.
The rainwater kept falling on the Water Pig Tyrant, and if you had good eyesight, youâd notice its injuries are visibly recovering.
Finally, itâs over... Wu Tianjiao inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief.
She really couldnât withstand the opponentâs energy-free tactics.
The Mechanical Systemâs referee appeared beside the Water Pig Tyrant.
Two seconds later, it waved a green flag in the direction of Qiao Sang and Lubao.
A giant virtual screen appeared out of nowhere.
Under Wu Tianjiaoâs photo, the photo of the Water Pig Tyrant turned from color to black and white.
"Ice Emperor..."
Lubaoâs once tense tail relaxed.
It also had a water storage attribute, clearly aware of how strong an S-rank water storage attributeâs restoration capability is.
"Letâs congratulate Qiao Sang on her second match victory in the semi-final!" Tian Yiwang exclaimed from the commentary stand.
"The current score is 2:0, Qiao Sang is leading to the pre-final. I wonder if sheâll seize the opportunity and secure her place in the final?"
"To be honest, Wu Tianjiao has given it her all," Tian Yiwang remarked, "but itâs really unlucky. In the first match, she faced the Steel Sword Falconâs Bond Evolution, and in the second match, after sending out the Water Pig Tyrant, she encountered the Ice Emperor Ram. If Qiao Sang had sent out Flame Gao, with the Water Pig Tyrantâs Water Curtain attribute, thereâs a chance she could have won."
Wu Tianjiao didnât immediately recall the Water Pig Tyrant to the Beast Taming Codex, letting it stay in the rain a little longer.
The audience erupted into deafening chaos:
"Qiao Sang is amazing, winning two consecutive matches in the semi-finals!"
"Wu Tianjiao still has a chance; Steel Sword Falcon is clearly struggling, and Ice Emperor Ram probably has drained its energy, only Flame Gao remains as strength."
"Is it so hard to acknowledge someoneâs talent?"
"Ice Emperor Ram is truly formidable, freezing all that rain."
"Itâs the Ice Heaven Domain thatâs powerful; if you have an Ice-Type Pet Beast with Ice Heaven Domain, you could do this too."
"I donât quite understand, itâs just the water storage attribute, why attack in the end, the Water Pig Tyrant is already down."
"Heard Wu Tianjiaoâs Water Pig Tyrant has an S-rank water storage attribute."
"Even with an S-rank water storage attribute, itâs unlikely for a fainted Pet Beast to recover consciousness so quickly."
"Look quickly! The Water Pig Tyrant is waking up!"
Everyoneâs attention focused, only to see the downed Water Pig Tyrant slowly open its eyes.
At this, Wu Tianjiao waved her hand and recalled the Water Pig Tyrant to the Beast Taming Codex.
Those who doubted earlier remained silent for a moment, then spoke:
"I was wrong, Qiao Sang truly has foresight..."
