Her Slow Bell can achieve a Perfect Level Concealing Breath, under the effect of the ghostly mist, it can even conceal her own aura, yet even so, being discovered means this person is clearly much more difficult to deal with than she imagined.
"Slow?"
Slow Bell called out, asking if they should continue to follow.
The woman pondered for a few seconds, gritting her teeth, she said:
"Follow."
Treasure Witch, able to locate Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures as well as rare Pet Beasts, following it would give a much better chance of finding the Spirit Crossing Cat.
...
Meanwhile.
Inside the building wrapped by Wu Man, Qiao Sang followed behind Treasure Witch.
"Someoneâs following us," Mikaela came up beside and said.
"I know." Qiao Sang was not surprised, and said, "Just two hundred meters away, thereâs one; three hundred meters high thereâs another, and one has already followed us in, currently at the corner twenty or so meters behind us."
After a pause, she added:
"The last one doesnât have footsteps, should be a Spectral-type Pet Beast."
Upon hearing this, Mikaela was satisfied and said:
"Youâre even more vigilant than I imagined."
Qiao Sang sighed and said:
"Teacher, you have no idea, in those missions entering the Secret Realm that I took on to participate in the regional competition, the teammates I met were all unreliable. Last time, you suggested I find a B-level Beastmaster to go with me to Secret Realm 53, but at first, she didnât even make a move, I had to defend against wild Pet Beasts by myself, dragging along two burdens in the Secret Realm, how could I not develop a higher alertness, thatâs all forged out of experience."
The burden Mikaela: "..."
Qiao Sang suddenly remembered her earlier guess, and changed her tone:
"Fortunately, the invited Beastmaster later helped me a lot, otherwise I wouldnât have completed the mission smoothly."
After listening, Mikaela felt relieved, her eyebrows relaxed, she said:
"The Secret Realm is indeed a good place for training, Iâll help you pick a few more for further practice."
Qiao Sang: "...Alright."
"Witch!"
Treasure Witch stopped ahead, pointing at a Spectral-type Pet Beast napping in the corner, and called out.
"Xun Xun~"
Little Treasure Hunter immediately moved over.
Qiao Sang stepped forward, and before she could clearly see what it was, a ghostly black mist surged around.
Dense yin energy enveloped the building.
"Xun Xun!"
Little Treasure Hunter immediately hugged the Pet Beast Egg tightly and teleported to its Beast Tamerâs side.
"Gangbao." Qiao Sang called out in her mind.
Gangbao didnât hesitate, flapping its wings with force, Wild Wind erupted, dispersing the black fog.
Qiao Sang looked towards the position Treasure Witch had pointed to earlier.
Only to see a brown vine unbeknownst to them wrap around the sleeping Spectral-type Pet Beast.
As she looked over, in a "whoosh", it was hung up like a kite in the air.
"Mask!"
The Spectral-type Pet Beast, tangled up, woke up with a startled expression, began struggling desperately.
The ghostly fog surged again.
Seeing it about to envelope the surroundings again, Qiao Sang spoke:
"Overlordâs Aura."
"Xun Xun!"
Little Treasure Hunterâs eyes sharpened, an invisible sense of suppression descended.
The vine paused.
A barely audible breath came from the window.
Yaobaoâs ears twitched, it opened its mouth towards the source of the breath.
A beam of red-gold light instantly shot out.
The wall exploded with a roar.
"Branch!"
A pet beast, all brown and about a meter tall, looking like a small tree wearing a Mini Shrinking Bracelet, was hit by the beam, screaming as it flew backward, disappearing from view.
The vine disappeared, the mist dissipated.
The previously entangled pet beast, caught off guard, fell downwards.
Qiao Sang, quick-eyed and deft, ran forward to catch it.
"Mask..."
The pet beast with two hands, two feet, and three eyes, the one on its forehead red, stared blankly at the human who caught it.
"Are you alright?" Qiao Sang asked.
"Mask!"
The three-eyed pet beast came to its senses, quickly floated to the side.
It remembered that it was caught by the human in front of it, so it responded with a nod, indicating it was fine.
At this moment, Mikaela said:
"Masked Puppet, a Spectral Intermediate Pet Beast, its middle eye can see through illusions, itâs a relatively rare pet beast."
"Witch!"
Treasure Witch proudly nodded, what it finds is always rare.
"Xun Xun..."
Little Treasure Hunter showed a disappointed expression, turned out itâs not a Spirit Crossing Cat.
"Mask?"
The Masked Puppet seemed to think of something, looked at Qiao Sang and suddenly became shy.
"Whatâs it saying?" Qiao Sang looked at Little Treasure Hunter and asked.
"Xun Xun~"
Little Treasure Hunter snickered quietly and called out.
