Capítulo 1644: Chapter 42: Destination, Flame Sky Star (Double-length)

One week later.

Early morning.

Outdoor training ground.

High above, Gangbao opened its mouth, black energy instantly cloaking its sharp teeth.

At the same time, a massive blurry shadow appeared in front with its mouth open.

But the shadow quickly vanished, as if it had never appeared.

Gangbao bit down on Little Treasure Hunter in front.

“Xun Xun!”

Little Treasure Hunter showed a pained expression and cried out.

Gangbao quickly released its bite.

“Xun Xun~”

Little Treasure Hunter teleported next to the training Lubao, looking at it pitifully.

Lubao glanced at it, and the cold Qi on its body dispersed, the gemstone on its forehead emitted a dim blue light, shining upon it.

Moments later, the dim blue light vanished, and the wounds on Little Treasure Hunter were completely healed.

“Xun Xun~”

Little Treasure Hunter called out gratefully and teleported back to Gangbao.

Gangbao opened its mouth again, with black energy covering its sharp teeth once more.

“Xun Xun!”

Recalling the earlier pain, Little Treasure Hunter quickly raised its paw and cried out, indicating to wait, it had something to say.

“Chief Steel.” Gangbao paused its action, and the black energy on its teeth dissipated.

“Xun Xun~”

Little Treasure Hunter called out earnestly, indicating that after training for such a long time, there was significant improvement, and now there was even a shadow. It was pleased and suggested that Gangbao could now practice alone.

Implying that it would no longer accompany it in training.

“Chief Steel.” Gangbao nodded in agreement.

Little Treasure Hunter let out a sigh of relief, then remembered something, took off a ring, and used telekinesis to place a Dunqiao Stone in front of Gangbao. It then quickly scanned the outdoor training ground, finally fixing its gaze on Qingbao.

Now that Gangbao had evolved and its training skills had strengthened, attacking caused noticeable pain, and training with it for Mutual Return Trait was too punishing, but Qingbao was better. Even if it got angry, it would only blow wind without much attack power, making it perfect to practice the Mutual Return Trait…

Thinking this, Little Treasure Hunter grinned, showing a flattering smile, and floated toward Qingbao.

In the shade under a tree dozens of meters away, Mikaela, who had witnessed the entire scene, spoke:

“Not bad, Steel Chief Armor can already manifest a shadow. With more practice, it should be able to master Abyss Bite initially.”

No, just now, Abyss Bite had already been recorded in the Beast Taming Codex for Gangbao. It could reach mastery in a day if it used a doppelganger for training… Qiao Sang, holding Little Ting Dragon, nodded and said:

“I’ll supervise.”

Mikaela turned, looking at Little Ting Dragon, and suddenly reached out toward it.

When her hand was about three centimeters away, yellow electric arcs suddenly appeared on Little Ting Dragon.

Mikaela withdrew her hand, and the yellow arcs vanished.

She extended her hand, and the arcs appeared.

Withdrew her hand, and the arcs disappeared.

Extend hand, arcs appear.

Withdraw hand, arcs disappear…

After repeating this several times, Mikaela laughed and said:

“It seems Little Ting Dragon really doesn’t like me.”

During this time, Little Ting Dragon stayed close to Qiao Sang and never showed signs of releasing thunder. Frauda also came twice to help inspect, and it didn’t release thunder either.

Except for Mikaela, as soon as she got close, Little Ting Dragon would spark with arcs.

“Teacher, do you have a dragon-type pet beast?” Qiao Sang asked.

“I do.” Mikaela replied.

“Could it be Little Ting Dragon doesn’t like the scent of your dragon-type pet beast, causing this reaction?” Qiao Sang speculated.

Recently, she had been reading about dragon-type pet beasts and learned that Beast Tamers contract with pet beasts, which leaves traces of the pet beast’s aura on them. Dragon-type pet beasts often have arrogant temperaments, and some cannot tolerate other dragon-type pet beasts of different species sharing the same territory, even rejecting Beast Tamers who have contracted with other dragon-type pet beasts.

“That’s impossible.” Mikaela replied without a second thought.

“Why?” Qiao Sang asked.

“Only some dragon-type pet beasts reject other dragon-type species, and they generally reject dragons of similar strength,” Mikaela explained:

“Little Ting Dragon is just a newly hatched dragon-type pet beast, so it couldn’t possibly sense the aura of my contracted pet beast.”

I see… Qiao Sang felt she had learned something new.

Little Ting Dragon looked up and glared at Mikaela.

This human was speaking ill of it again.

Mikaela sensed its gaze and looked at it.

“Ting…”

Little Ting Dragon glared back, and yellow arcs appeared on its body.
