The evolution pathway for Liaoxing Dog has been discovered? Qiao Sang was taken aback at first, but then reacted with excitement:
"Really? What is the evolution pathway?"
To be honest, there have been so many things happening recently that she nearly forgot the vice principal was still researching Yaobaoâs evolution pathway...
"It involves letting the energy within reach the standard for evolution and then making it boil, evolving on the full moon day." Liu Yao said excitedly.
"Let the energy within boil?" Qiao Sang was somewhat puzzled.
"Itâs about letting the Flame Listening Dog be in battle or in an angry emotional state." Liu Yao explained: "In the initial phase, we completely replicated the evolution scenario of Yaobao at the time, but none of the Flame Listening Dogs evolved. Later, through continuous experimentation, we discovered it must be on the night of the full moon."
"With this necessary condition, we let several Flame Listening Dogs whose internal energy reached the evolution standard come out on the full moon day, but none of them evolved."
"Thus, we found out that battle is also necessary."
"Later on, we let five Flame Listening Dogs battle in the same environment, but not all evolved into Liaoxing Dogs; only two did."
"Through continuous experimentation, we discovered that the internal energy must boil to a certain degree during battle, or else it wonât meet the evolution standard if the battle isnât intense enough."
After a pause, Liu Yao added:
"The anger of Fire Attribute Beast causes varying levels of energy boiling inside, so as long as the Flame Listening Dogâs anger is intense enough, it can trigger the energy boiling and reach the evolution standard."
So thatâs how it is... Qiao Sang absorbed the information, admiringly said:
"Didnât expect such complex evolution conditions to be researched so quickly."
Liu Yao laughed: "Compared to the evolution conditions of Flame Listening Dog, Liaoxing Dogâs isnât considered very difficult. If not for the limited Flame Listening Dogs available for research, the research time for Liaoxing Dogâs evolution pathway surely could be shortened further."
"After all, we perfectly replicated Yaobaoâs evolution scenario at the time."
Qiao Sang laughed and said:
"If it were me, Iâd definitely not think of the full moon night."
Liu Yao didnât refute the claim, saying: "Professionals do professional work. No matter what, Iâm a researcher, and thereâs a team behind me that thinks faster than you alone."
Qiao Sang: "..."
Originally, she was just offering flattery but now canât refute...
Turning the subject, Liu Yao suddenly said:
"Come to think of it, the quick research on Liaoxing Dog should thank you."
Qiao Sang, pretending to be embarrassed, said:
"I only recounted Yaobaoâs evolution scenario at the time. Iâm a team member, thatâs a given."
"Not that kind of thanks." Liu Yao laughed: "Thanks for winning the regional competition."
Ah? Qiao Sang was momentarily stunned.
Liu Yao continued:
"If you hadnât won the regional competition, many Beast Tamers wouldnât have signed up for the experiment after contracting Fire-Toothed Dogs, successfully evolving enough Flame Listening Dogs to participate in Liaoxing Dogâs evolution research."
Didnât expect I had such credit... Qiao Sang once again offered flattery:
"Itâs mainly due to everyoneâs trust in you."
This kid... Liu Yao laughed and then suddenly thought of something, saying:
"Oh, thereâs one more thing."
"What is it?" Qiao Sang cooperatively asked.
Liu Yao didnât answer directly, instead asking:
"Didnât Yaobao awaken the trait of Moonlight Power when it evolved into Liaoxing Dog?"
Qiao Sangâs heart stirred, replying, "Thatâs right."
"Weâve examined all successfully evolved Liaoxing Dogs and found that only one of them awakened the trait of Moonlight Power." Liu Yaoâs tone was no longer excited: "This ratio is too low, and we havenât figured out yet if itâs related to genetics or for other reasons."
Generally, whether a Pet Beast can awaken the corresponding trait during evolution is related to genetics, but there are exceptions.
Although the Liaoxing Dogâs evolution pathway has been successfully researched, their numbers are still low, especially those possessing the trait of Moonlight Power.
Liu Yao said:
"So weâre planning to conduct research in this area soon."
Upon hearing this, Qiao Sang inexplicably thought of the other evolution branch of Liaoxing Dog into Flame Kiru, the Moon Disaster Dog.
I wonder if the trait of Moonlight Power is related to the subsequent evolution pathway, considering they both contain the word "moon."
Qiao Sang didnât voice this thought, as it involved the Golden Finger, and it wasnât easy to explain how she knew there was another evolution branch for Liaoxing Dog.
