Ray Saint didnât stay long. After the wholly new Heart of Dreams, created by Feifei, had been brought into existence, the Ray Saint vanished in a wisp of smoke. He left behind only a Space Ring that looked extremely valuable at first glance. Inside the Space Ring, there was only a USB drive.
This left Su Ping somewhat speechless.
In his mind, he had imagined that an inheritance from within Dragon City should at least be a Sheepskin Scroll or various other prestigious heritage artifacts, but it turned out to be this.
However, upon reflection, it made sense, just as the Ray Saint had said. The Cultivation Method for the Rainbow Dragon, although it came from the Four Seas Dragon Palace in Dragon City, was not necessarily highly valued. The Rainbow Coral Worms were far too rare. Even for a Spirit Saint Level Beast Tamer like the Ray Saint, they were definitely not easy to come by.
If it hadnât involved dragon Evolution, perhaps this so-called Cultivation Method wouldnât have been included in Dragon Cityâs records?
Su Ping shook his head and plugged the USB into the computer. A document appeared within it: "Four Seas Dragon Palace Aquatic Pet Beast Dragon Transformation Detection Cultivation LogâRainbow Coral Worm."
Dragon Transformation Detection Log?
Su Pingâs eyebrows rose slightly.
He had always been extremely curious about how the beasts of the Dragon Clan were born. The Giant Dragon Clan didnât matter; he had not come into contact with them. But he had encountered two from the Divine Dragon Clan: Da Huang, and Qin Erlongâs Mu Long. Although he wasnât familiar with that Mu Long, his main understanding of dragons came from Da Huang, which had benefited him greatly. Because from what he could see, the Divine Dragon Clan, unlike the vast majority of Pet Beasts, was asexual. Even if they identified with a psychological gender, in reality, they had no physiological characteristics.
Hence, dragons were, to a large extent, a powerful Pet Beast completely monopolized by Dragon Nation. Even if other human Beast Tamer nations obtained some dragon Pet Beasts, they couldnât propagate or cultivate Dragon Pets through ordinary means.
If one wanted a powerful Dragon Pet, it could only be obtained through Dragon Country. So, how were dragons born inside that so-called Dragon City?
This detection log now undoubtedly gave Su Ping some ideas.
Dragon Transformation Detection? So, are all members of the Dragon Clan derived from the transformation of ordinary Pet Beasts through detection and subsequent Cultivation? Are they various Pet Beastsâ draconic evolutionary forms that ultimately turned into dragons? Is it only the Divine Dragon Clan that does this, or does the Giant Dragon Clan do the same?
This question made Su Ping very curious.
However, to truly understand, he knew he would have to visit Dragon City in the future and see for himself.
Su Ping didnât hesitate and clicked open the document:
"âRainbow Coral WormâA precious and special Water Element Pet Beast, ranging from unranked to Ordinary Level. It can secrete Advanced Level Rainbow Coral. It has almost zero combat power and is only capable of using secreted coral to protect itself, possessing no offensive abilities.â
âHowever, using Rainbow Coral as a medium to release Rainbow Light can satisfy the basic survival Energy needs of Water Element Pet Beasts. They are extremely rare and special; with very few experimental subjects available, they are dearly treasured.â
âDue to the rarity of subjects, the following data represent preliminary evolutionary possibilities derived from limited trials. This is an incomplete simulation of the ideal state of dragon body Evolution. For reference only.â
Indeed, even with the power of Dragon Nation, the scarcity of the Rainbow Coral Worm was the biggest obstacle to their research into the so-called Rainbow Dragon. And no matter who it was, in such research, a slight oversight in the path of Evolution meant the loss of an experimental subjectâs value. It was understandable why the Four Seas Dragon Palaceâs investigation into Rainbow Dragons in Dragon City was superficial. Even Su Ping knew that Ray Saint definitely didnât expect him to actually achieve anything. In Ray Saintâs view, the greatest value of this item to Su Ping was to allow him to complete the Rainbow Coral Wormâs Evolution, temporarily freeing him from concerns about lifespan limitations.
Thinking of this, the corners of Su Pingâs mouth turned up as he continued reading.
"âAfter testing, the Rainbow Coral Worm meets the criteria for Dragon Transformation. Its innate abilities are primarily light and water Attributes! Based on this, the First Segment of Dragon Transformation Cultivation was attempted! Twelve experiments were conducted in total! Of these, four failures resulted in the Rainbow Coral Worm being unable to evolve further or dying.â
âFour cases evolved to Peak Command and could not enhance Evolution further after completing the First Segment of Dragon Transformation.â
âOne case could not enhance Evolution further after completing the First Segment of Dragon Transformation, reaching a maximum race limit of Elite Level.â
âTwo cases ultimately finished the Second Rank of Dragon Transformation Evolution and could not enhance further, with a maximum race limit of Monarch Level.â
âOne case ultimately finished the Third Rank of Dragon Transformation Evolution and could not enhance further, with a maximum race limit of Monarch Level.â
Looking at the next segment of the Evolution log, Su Pingâs brow slightly furrowed.
Dragon City had found twelve Rainbow Coral Worms for their research and Cultivationâan astonishing number. The failed Evolutions and those five that evolved only once neednât be mentioned. Two had evolved twice, their highest being Monarch Level, but one that had evolved three times was also Monarch Level? This seemingly unscientific phenomenon plainly indicated that the Rainbow Coral Worm that completed three Ranks of Evolution probably experienced extremely low Rank upgrades after each Evolution. Perhaps after each Evolution, its race limit only increased by one Realm.
Nevertheless, it had to be said that twelve specimens were indeed quite a few for an ordinary Beast Tamer working with an established Pet Beast Cultivation system. However, when it came to pioneering an undeveloped Pet Beast Cultivation system, twelve was hardly worth mentioning.
