After Song Linghan left, Huaijun picked up the phone and called Lin Yi’s number. There were some things he wanted to talk to him about when they met, but after hearing Lingshan’s words, he was getting really enthusiastic to talk with him!

There were some things he didn’t tell Lin Yi because he didn’t want him to get involved! He knew his personality- once he knew something, he couldn’t act as if he didn’t! But if Lin Yi really were to do something, that’d be extremely dangerous!

But now, after listening to Lingshan’s words, Huaijun knew that he’d really underestimated his captain! He was already enemies with House Yu, killing two of their practitioners…

Huaijun knew that Lin Yi would take revenge for this brother of his if he knew, and so he kept it a secret in case Lin Yi went and got hurt because of him. Lin Yi wasn’t strong enough for them yet!

But this didn’t seem to be important now.

“Jun Bro? Why’re you calling now? You back in Songshan?” Lin Yi was currently in the study hall with Xiaoxiao. He wasn’t expecting a call from Huaijun.

“No, I’m in Donghai. Are you free to talk?” Huaijun asked.

“Yeah. What’s up?” Lin Yi said after looking around- there weren’t many people here, and there was only Xiaoxiao beside him. They’d all gone to see the singing competition, so only Xiaoxiao could hear him.

“Lingshan came just now, asking me about a case, but she brought me some information as well!” Huaijun had no need for a surface talk with Lin Yi. “Her strength increased from Golden class early phase peak to late phase peak because of you?”

“Yes, you can achieve the same too.” Lin Yi didn’t hesitate at all. “This is also why I called you this time- I can repair your nerves and make you Golden class late phase peak!”

House Yang has placed their hope in me, and I was a Golden class when I was sixteen- there’s a lot of potential, and so House Yu wanted to get rid of me, except they involved Armadillo and the other team members…” Huaijun conjectured.

“House Yu, is it? Alright!” Lin Yi said flatly.

“Eagle, calm down!” Huaijun tensed- he knew how Lin Yi was. He may sound all calm and composed, but Lin Yi right now was the Lin Yi right before the killing. It was as if he was in a warzone with the way he spoke!

And so he was extremely worried that his captain would do something reckless.
