Tang Yin took up the phone and was starting to dial Mengyao’s number when Uncle Fu stepped in. “Is Tang Yun here? Are you all alright? Is the enemy gone?”

“Oh?” Uncle Fu walked over and crouched down, frowning as he inspected Chentian. “It would’ve been fine if Lin Yi was here, but since he isn’t, we’ll have to send him to the hospital. I’ll drive him there- are you coming with me?”

“Alright!” Tang Yin nodded. It was because of her that Chentian got injured, so naturally, she wouldn’t just leave him alone. She quickly put on her shoes. “Mom, you stay here and get a repairman to fix the door! I’ll be out for a bit!”

If that had been the case, she would’ve put the name out earlier so they would leave, and Chentian wouldn’t get hurt! But she didn’t know that Fafa didn’t tell him about Lin Yi’s name!

On the way to the hospital, Tang Yin told Uncle Fu about what happened, and he nodded, sighing. “So it was Uncle Zhu… He’s the one that Lin Yi injured back then, Zhao Qibing’s bodyguard. It’s because of what they did to your house that Lin Yi made a move!”

“Oh, it’s him! No wonder he’s so afraid of Lin Yi!” Tang Yun exclaimed.

“When I came to your house. I saw two people leave your place and went on a Ferrari before leaving- so it was those two. I should’ve stopped them if I had known!”

“No need for that–Lin Yi isn’t here right now, so it’s best if we avoid trouble. Let’s wait until Lin Yi gets back!” Tang Yun didn’t want to cause trouble when Lin Yi wasn’t here.

“Alright, we’ll wait for him to come back…” Uncle Fu nodded.

Yutian came back with Lingshan and had wanted to talk with her about the tomb case when all this news came. Seeing that frown on Lingshan’s face, Yutian sighed. “Lingshan, don’t put too much stress on yourself- the robberies already happened; it’s no use to be fretting over it too much. Just try your best to look for the clues- but from the looks of it, this man has to be a practitioner for sure.”

“Yeah, he has to be- this also makes the case harder to crack!” Lingshan said. “The practitioners in Songshan all have a file in Songshan, and this sort of thing may require us to ask Feng Tianlong for help. It’s a bit out of our range of operation!”

“That’s true. If it really is a practitioner we’re dealing with we’ll have to get the secret service for backup.” Yutian nodded. “Let’s talk about the tomb raider case first?”
