He couldnât answer Zhaolongâs question directly, so he just nodded.
âHehe, do you need my warm palm?â Zhaolong reached out his hand, hoping Xinyan would hold it.
âNo⊠Itâs fine âŠâ Xinyan shifted her gaze to the outside of the cable car. There were two snowy mountains, and in the middle was a bottomless Valley. It was so beautiful, and it made people feel relaxed and happy. It was a pity that the person who was riding the cable car with her wasnât Lin Yi.
Xinyanâs heart skipped a beat at the sudden thought of Lin Yi. She realized that she couldnât stay calm after Lin Yi confessed to her. She would think of Lin Yi often, and although she did before, it was always vague. Now, she always thought of Lin Yi as her boyfriend, and this made things difficult for Xinyan. She knew that she couldnât go on like this, but she had no choice!
The most difficult thing to control was the human heart. Emotions couldnât be changed by oneâs own will. Even if Wang Xinyan tried to stop thinking about Lin Yi, she would still think about Lin Yi if she reminded herself not to think about him. It was really difficult.
âXinyan, do you think the cable car will crash and fall?â Zhaolong asked.
âI ⊠How would I know?â Xinyan frowned. Couldnât Zhaolong say something auspicious? Why do you think that thereâs a problem with the cable car after you get on it?
âItâs not impossible for the cable car to fall into the valley. â âBut itâs fine, Iâve prepared some equipment for an escape âŠâ Zhaolong said.
ââŠâ Xinyan was speechless. Zhaolong was the perfect boyfriend. He never told a disgusting joke during dinner and cursed the cable car to crash the moment he got on. If it were Lin Yi, heâd probably use this chance to practice with her âŠ
Why was she thinking of Lin Yi again? Wang Xinyan shook her head âŠ
Seeing Xinyan shake her head, Zhaolong thought that she didnât believe the cable car would fall. It wouldnât fall under normal circumstances, but this was a special case!
Zhaolong had been studying so pure and so flirtatious for the past few days. The main characters were hitting on girls at a ski resort, where they fell into a Valley together, struggled in the wilderness, and finally fell in love!
In the wilderness, especially in times of danger, it was easy for people to feel helpless. If Zhaolong put in his heart, he should be able to win Xinyanâs heart.
However, what she was afraid of came true-Xinyan was enjoying the beautiful view outside the window when she suddenly heard a loud boom, and she felt the gravity go out of control. She suddenly realized that the cable car she was on had left the ropeway, and was falling down into the valley!
âAh?â Xinyan didnât know what to say-she was pissed that Zhaolong was a jinx. Sheâd never hang out with him again, even if her mother was there to talk to him. The guy was so unlucky, getting beaten up by robbers and gangsters all day. He was even cheated on his skis, and his cable car was cut off halfway.
Zhaolong didnât expect Xinyan to view him as a dangerous person that she shouldnât have any contact with, and yet she was still gloating over the plan she came up with!
Heâd studied the location of the ski resort before-the cable car was set up between two mountains, and there was a lake at the foot of the mountain with a cave nearby. It was a paradise for lovers-if he and Xinyan could get lost here together, he was sure something interesting would happen, and Xinyanâs heart would probably be moved by the loneliness.
âXinyan, donât worry, weâll jump out now. If we don ât, weâll die for sure if we fall from this cable car âŠâ Before Zhaolong could finish, Xinyan pushed open the door of the cable car and jumped out. She wasnât confident in Zhaolong, but in Lin Yi. After being with Lin Yi for a long time, she knew that falling from this height wasnât dangerous for a practitioner like Lin Yi, and she didnât want to be taken advantage of by Zhaolong.
At that moment, Xinyan was thinking that if Lin Yi really didnât care about her coming to save him, then heâd be better off dead. Itâd save Zhaolong from taking advantage of him, and she wouldnât have to worry about all this âŠ
Lin Yi saw that the cable car was shot down by purple hairâs hidden weapon and frowned. He could guess what Zhaolong was up to! No wonder the kid wanted to share the same cable car with Xinyan-he wanted to play the love game.
âJing Jing, stay in the cable car. Donât wait for me, Iâll go save Xinyan. Take care of yourself.â Lin Yi said.
âEn, en.â Han Jingjing didnât stop Lin Yi and quickly nodded to show that she understood.
Before the cable car left the ropeway, the door was controlled and couldnât be opened unless the circuit was destroyed or the cable car was derailed. But Lin Yi broke through the window and jumped down in Xinyanâs direction.
With their speed, Lin Yi shouldnât have been able to catch up to Xinyan, but he was a practitioner, and with the help of his Qi, catching up to Xinyan wasnât a problem.
Zhaolong didnât expect Xinyan to jump down so quickly, but he wasnât even done yet! Zhaolong wanted to tell her that he had a parachute, but Xinyan didnât even wait for him!
Zhaolong jumped-Xinyan wouldâve been dead if sheâd fallen in! With that thought, Zhaolong jumped off the cable car and chased after Xinyan, opening the parachute in his bag.
Luckily, Zhaolongâs backpack was equipped with a jet-propelled engine, or he wouldnât have been able to catch up to Xinyan! Of course, this propulsion system was also prepared for a safe landing.
There was a lake at the bottom of the valley after all, and the water was still running. It wasnât frozen yet, and there was only a thin layer of ice on top. Zhaolong was afraid of falling into the lake, so he used the jet-propelled grenade to change his landing position. He didnât expect to use it to chase Xinyan.
Xinyan didnât think too much about it when she jumped down, but the sound of the wind blowing in her ears really scared her. She looked down at the abyss, and she felt like she was really going to die!
âXinyan, Iâm coming, grab me!â Zhaolong didnât even have time to open his parachute-he had to go after Xinyan! If he did, heâd slow down his descent, and he wouldnât be able to catch up to Xinyan. (To be continued.)
