Itās not that. If a young man were to address him this way, it would be fine.
But, it feels strange to Chen Changāan when an old man addresses him in the same manner.
"Since little friend Chen insists, Iāll abide by it and address you as such,"
"However, regarding your statement earlier, I feel obliged to clarify a point."
"In reference to the term āMisterā, there is no question of it being too great to bear. You should not belittle yourself. Cultivation always values those who have achieved. Our Confucian Path follows the same principle."
"Even though we might be a few years older than you, our foundation in this regard is far inferior to yours."
"I canāt speak for other paths, but on the Confucian Path, you truly deserve the title of āMisterā."
Hearing what Chen Changāan said, Kong Chu didnāt insist anymore, immediately agreed, and reverted to calling him ālittle friendā.
However, although the address was changed, he couldnāt agree with some of the points in Chen Changāanās words.
The Confucian Path values achievement, the title of āMisterā is not simply given, but earned.
No matter from which perspective, Chen Changāan is truly worthy of this title.
Seeing Kong Chu acknowledging this, Chen Changāan gave a light laugh and changed the topic of the conversation.
Following on, he fetched tea leaves from a space, and brewed some tea.
After the tea was prepared, he handed a cup to Kong Chu and then asked:
"May I ask, what brings you here? Is there anything I could assist you with?"
Kong Chu, taking the tea, saluted Chen Changāan saying:
"I must confess, my purpose for coming is to invite you to visit the Jixia Academy."
"I wonder, would you do us the honor of paying us a visit there?"
Kong Chu avoided excessive talk and got straight to the point about his visit to the Tianshui Sect: he was inviting Chen Changāan to the Jixia Academy.
They planned to do this a long time ago, yet the Confucian Path has always been in an awkward position, and they didnāt have the time to see it through.
Now that the three realms are opened, the Confucian Path has another wave of prosperity.
With the presence of two semi-saints suppressing the air and teaching, and many great scholars under them sustaining the vitality of the path,
They finally had some leisure time.
Thereupon they decided to invite Chen Changāan to pay a visit.
"Alright, Sir, I will fulfill your request,"
"However, not now, I have some matters to attend to presently. Once itās taken care of, I will set out for the academy."
"Thinking about it, Iāve never been to the Jixia Academy in all these years."
"I should thank you for providing me with this unique opportunity."
Under Kong Chuās anxious gaze, Chen Changāan nodded, confirming his future visit to the Jixia Academy.
Although he didnāt specify a time, his confirmation was a great relief to Kong Chu.
"Alright, thank you, little friend." Hearing Chen Changāanās words, the delighted Kong Chu bowed respectfully.
"Okay." Chen Changāan also nodded, indicating his understanding.
Afterward, Kong Chu had a long conversation with Chen Changāan at Daozang Mountain before he made his leave.
However, he didnāt leave the Tianshui Sect immediately. Instead, under the guidance of Sect Master Li, he toured the mountains of the Sect.
Kong Chu was especially curious about the place where Chen Changāan used to live.
But he was disappointed.
The Tianshui Sect was very ordinary.
The disciples rose early and retired late, sitting in the plaza of their mountains, facing the rising sun, and started their day of cultivation.
The whole morning, the entire Tianshui Sect was shrouded in a misty purple aura.
"Hmm? Sect Master Li, what is that place where things seem somewhat different?"
After touring most of the Tianshui Sect, Kong Chu suddenly noticed something unusual.
In the area close to the Undying Imperial City, strands of pure white Heavenly Aura rose and filled between Heaven and Earth,
Rendering that piece of land into a Heavenly paradise.
Seeing this unusual place, Kong Chu immediately asked Li Daoran.
"To let you know, Sir, that place is also one of our Tianshui Sectās cultivation grounds."
"The scene youāre witnessing is because there are disciples cultivating there."
Li Daoran glanced towards the direction Kong Chu pointed out, and then smiled lightly.
Kong Chu nodded in response, before asking again:
"Sect Master Li, may I visit that place, please?"
"Of course, you may. Please, this way." Li Daoran led Kong Chu to that location.
When they arrived, they saw a group of disciples in white robes cultivating on the plaza.
However, their cultivation methods seemed unique.
Even though these disciples were seated cross-legged, their heads were empty of any visible Cultivation Technique or Daoist method.
There was no mist of purple aura, and instead, strands of pure white aura lingered between Heaven and Earth.
Recognizing this aura, Kong Chu felt a sense of unfamiliarity at first, but it gradually became a deep sense of familiarity.
It was the Heavenly Aura, but it felt different from the one practiced in the present Confucian Path.
It was far more majestic and mysterious, as if it were a true representation of Heaven and Earth.
"White Tiger!"
"True Dragon!"
"Tianchen!"
"Purple Weeds!"
"Taiyin!"
