"Letting go is always better than keeping everything bottled up inside."
As for the fried crispy meat...
"Did your guy give the green light?" Coco Edwards asked.
"The ban he imposed on me has expired!" Jane Sampson was washing her face, so her words were somewhat muffled, "I had the time recorded in my mobile phone memo, and this morning as soon as it hit, the memo reminded me."
"Wow, youāre really something." Coco Edwards gave Jane Sampson a thumbs up, then agreed.
When Jane Sampson had first joined the film crew, she had a sore throat, so James Black had emphasized repeatedly that Janeās diet must be strictly controlled, and Coco Edwards had been monitoring it closely.
Now that Jane had been with the filming set for such a long time, her throat had long since recovered.
Moreover, the girl was cajoling her early in the morning; faced with those cat-like eyes, Coco Edwards couldnāt bring herself to say no.
Jane Sampsonās cajoling wasnāt too bad.
But when she started, it was truly irresistible.
Even if Coco Edwards was a girl herself, she would have to surrender.
Coco Edwards was making sure Jane Sampson had finished getting ready before she opened the door to go downstairs and buy Jane breakfast. The hotelās breakfast didnāt vary much, and it was the same every day. It was fine at first, but after a while, everyone gets tired of it.
So for the past two days, Jane Sampson and Coco Edwardsā breakfasts had been bought from a small shop near the hotel by Coco.
The reason for coming over in person was partly to wake Jane Sampson up, and partly to make sure she didnāt sleep in.
"Iām going downstairs to buy you breakfast, donāt curl back up in bed, wait for me just a short while," Coco Edwards instructed, somewhat apprehensively, as she walked towards the door.
"You should have a little more faith in me, Iām not that unreliable as an actor." Jane Sampson propped her cheek in her hand, gazing at Coco Edwards while waving her off, "Go on, take it slow when crossing the road; Iām not in a hurry."
Only then did Coco Edwards hum in response and open the door, ready to step out.
But to her surprise, when she opened the door, she almost bumped into the person outside.
Coco Edwards jumped, and upon closer inspection, saw that it was Mona Calm, kneeling outside the door.
"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" Coco Edwardsās face immediately dropped.
"Sister Coco, can I see Sister Jane?" Mona Calm knelt there, sobbing, "Sister Coco, I know I was wrong, I really do, I want to see Sister Jane, if she wonāt come out to see me, Iāll just keep kneeling here waiting for her."
Jane Sampson, who had been leisurely playing a game inside, heard the noise outside the door and walked out slowly. She hadnāt even had a chance to ask Coco Edwards who was outside the door, but, unexpectedly, she heard Mona Calmās speech first.
It was the same face that last time she had thought quite delicate and beautiful.
Now, however, it only seemed repulsive to her.
In fact, the time between was only a few short days.
Separated by just a single truth.
"If Mona Calm likes kneeling, let her kneel. After all, itās the hotelās carpet sheās kneeling on and the hotelās stuff sheās wearing through," Jane Sampson said without even planning to show her face, simply calling out to Coco Edwards at the doorway, "Go buy your breakfast, donāt mind her, close my room door when you leave."
What Jane Sampson found most detestable, absolutely detestable, was the feeling of being coerced.
Being forced to say things she didnāt want to say, being forced to do things she didnāt want to do, with no reason or meaning to speak of.
