"I protest this! I retweeted it too; why donât you feel any gratitude toward me? Food, I want some too!" Oscar Wilson rattled off a list of dishes he loved to eat and even mentioned when he could visit the Capital Province to see Jane Sampson.
"Mimi Woodâs Twitter account is a big V, while your account is like an invisible kid, so your retweet got buried in the vast sea of users, and I didnât notice it," Jane Sampson explained. "Alright then, youâre all benefactors. Letâs plan to meet up sometime. Or better yet, why donât we gather at my home?"
Jane Sampson noticed retweets from Kane Forest and Alexander Forest, as well as James Carterâs support on Twitter.
In fact, the tweets Jane posted last night werenât intended to gain popularity through retweets; they were purely expressions of personal emotions.
But Kane Forest, Alexander Forest, and James Carter all retweeted them, which did feel like a kind gesture to Jane.
Of course, what surprised Jane more was Amber Edwards showing support as well.
The woman who had always been at odds with her both in real life and in the internet realm unexpectedly took action to support her this time.
Jane Sampson sent Amber Edwards a private message to thank her in the morning.
As for Oscar Wilsonâs retweet, she hadnât paid much attention to it; his account didnât have high popularity, so even after scrolling through a few pages, she didnât notice it.
"At your home? Mimi Woodâs Twitter account isnât popular, and now the Monkey King of Sampson is inviting us over for a meal! What do I do? Iâm feeling a bit excited~"âPoor Youth.
After posting this statement, Poor Youth privately messaged Jane Sampson.
"Monkey King, why donât we wait until Jillian Carterâs marriage is over? Sheâs getting married, and Iâll livestream the whole thing for you. Want to watch?" Oscar Wilson asked.
"No thanks. Her marriage has nothing to do with me," Jane Sampson replied without hesitation.
"Youâre not even the slightest bit curious about which man is unlucky enough to marry her? Let me tell you, although her wedding is scheduled soon, I heard the arrangements are grand. Theyâre sending out invitations everywhereâI even got one. Just for fun, I decided Iâd pack a red envelope and go check it out," Oscar said.
"Not curious. Whether her life is good or bad has nothing to do with me," Jane Sampson said. Then, with a sigh, she corrected herself, "Alright, fine. Iâll wish her happiness anyway."
After all, Jillian Carter was James Carterâs younger sister.
Aunt Carter and Uncle Carter were such wonderful people.
If Jillianâs marriage turned out unhappy, James Carter would be upset, and her terrific daddy and mommy would be worried for her.
"Iâll still wish her happiness and hope that man treats her well," Jane Sampson said. "Youâre going to the wedding, so just go, but donât do any livestreams. Marriage is the most important day in a womanâs life; thereâs no need to create trouble or risk causing conflicts and unpleasantness between her and your family."
"Tsk, I realize youâre such a softie," Oscar Wilson snorted but agreed. "Alright, fine, Iâll listen to you. I wonât go then. Let me figure out when I can come to the Capital Province to see youâI still remember you said youâd treat us to a meal."
Jane Sampson didnât hesitate to agree, thinking to herself that sheâd need to pick a day when she had time and James Black would also be available, preferably when heâd be at home.
That way, James Black could help her greet the guests or lend a hand.
Like, after meals, James Black could wash the bowls.
After lunch, Jane Sampson didnât have time for a lunch break. Lucy Brisk and the driver were already waiting downstairs. Jane Sampson grabbed her purse, hurried downstairs, jumped into the car, and headed for Jasmine Sevenâs studio.
