Not until he had taken care of Jane Sampson did James Black take his mobile phone to the living room to make a call.
Halfway there, Aunt Black had called James multiple times, but he didnāt answer, turning it off instead, to avoid waking Jane Sampson, who had just managed to fall asleep. Once he got home, he returned Brooke Blackās call.
"Is Jane okay?" Brooke was genuinely worried, "I saw her crying hard during the live streaming, did you manage to comfort her?"
"Sheās already asleep," James said.
"Thatās good." Brooke sighed and cursed, "In this world, there are people who just like to run their mouths and hurt others. Janeās reverse scale is her biological parents, and some black-hearted individuals must bring this up."
After swearing a bit, Brooke said, "I had someone investigate that male host and found out his account received a transfer of five million the day before yesterday. He must have been bribed to target Jane."
"Could it be Jillian Carter? Or someone behind Jillian Carterās husband?" James asked.
"I canāt be sure, because the account is overseas. Weāre still tracing it, but I suspect it might be under a fake identity." Brooke stated, "However, the only ones who have clashed with Jane were Jillian Carter and her husband; they were causing trouble for Jane before. I reckon itās related to the couple."
"Auntie, first send me the evidence of the male hostās transaction to my email, and then send a copy to Janeās agent, Rock Bell. Sheāll know how to handle it," James said. "Iāll look deeper into this male host. Circle insiders who can be bought by money, I refuse to believe this is the only dirt on him."
"Okay, Iāll be waiting for your updates," Brooke agreed.
A few minutes later, James received an email from Brooke.
After that, James called an old friend. He wasnāt short of money, so he was ready to spend heavily to buy all the information on this male host.
He would show this male host what it meant to mess with someone beyond his league.
For someone who made Jane Sampson so upset, banning him wouldnāt even be enough to vent his anger.
At the studio, after receiving the email, Rock Bell didnāt release the evidence of the male host being bribed to target Jane Sampson through her studio.
Instead, she saved the pictures and directly sent them to some media reporters she knew.
Within five minutes of sending, the account pictures had been posted on major forums and Twitter accounts by journalists from all the major portals.
Rock Bell immediately bought a hot search for this male host, and also had people fabricate some dirt on him.
Rock Bell didnāt believe that after these actions, the male host could still manage to stand back up.
The team Rock Bell found was excellent and immediately fabricated all kinds of stories about this male host.
Netizen: Oh my! I used to really like this male host, but I canāt believe heās this kind of person! A lifelong black mark!
Netizen: Oh my, he was actually doing drugs! Doing drugs to the point of being short on money, which is why he was easily bribed with five million. Oh my! How did such a person become a host?
Netizen: I heard it was because of gambling? They say he gambled and owed tens of millions in debt, sold everything he could from his home, and was cornered by loan sharks, only then did he accept the five million to harm Jane Sampson.
Netizen: Whether itās drugs or gambling, itās really too much.
