"Young people, having good feelings is a good thing." Old Sir Carter beamed, "Maybe, sometime soon, youâll be able to hold a little great-grandchild."
Old Sir Carter really wanted to hold Jane Sampsonâs child now, "I donât even dare hope for Janeâs brother anymore, heâs at this age and still not married, letâs just wait for Janeâs child."
"Little Janeâs child would definitely look like both her and my brother. If it looks like Dad and has Momâs personality, wouldnât that be fun?" Peter Gingery couldnât help but laugh at the thought of a miniaturized version of James Black with Jane Sampsonâs lively temperament.
Elder Black quickly hung up the mobile phone, "Let the young couple chat slowly, weâll all go rest early."
Elder Black let Old Sir Carter and his wife stay at the Black Residence to rest, there were still guest rooms available in the house, and the nanny had tidied them up early in the morning.
Upstairs, after blurting out the word âhave,â James Blackâs brain was searching for something to talk about with her.
After thinking it over, he thought of something that could be considered quite important to discuss with Jane Sampson.
"Jillian Carter attempted suicide by cutting her wrists," James said.
"What? Youâre talking about that, I already knew about it." Jane Sampson was puzzled, "Bright and Peter told me."
"..." James Black clicked his tongue in his heart, these two really couldnât keep their mouths shut.
"I only just found out, Mr. Carter just rushed back by car." Jane Sampson sighed as she spoke of this matter, "Bright told me it was because Jillian couldnât accept that Iâm the Carter familyâs biological daughter, so she attempted suicide. But, it seems like Grandpa and Grandma are quite discontented with her and feel that sheâs using this as a way to prevent me from returning to the Carter Family, so they didnât go back after she got into trouble."
Jane Sampson wasnât actually focused on talking about this; what she wanted to express was, "Regardless of whether Jillian Carter is using this method to keep me from returning to the Sampton Family, or if sheâs really overwhelmed with the blow and canât think clearly, she shouldnât harm herself so extremely. Mr. Carter rushed back overnight despite his health out of concern for her."
Thatâs what Jane Sampson wanted to say.
Jillian Carter should never, under any circumstances, use self-harm and hurting those who care for her as a way to handle things.
Jane Sampson thought, if she were Jillian Carter and wanted to prevent the biological daughter from returning to the family, she definitely wouldnât do something so foolish at this time.
Not to mention whether itâs effective, what if something bad happened, and she really couldnât be rescued in time and died?
If she loses her life, what would there be left to say?
"Youâre good." James Black praised Jane Sampson, "Youâre not her."
If it were Jane Sampson, just like in the Sampton Family, when Julie Sampson came back, Jane Sampson never thought of driving Julie out to continue occupying the parents who rightfully belong to Julie.
Because his Jane Sampson is both smart and kind-hearted.
"Right now, Iâm just worried about Mr. Carter. Our filming today has been really tough, with almost no time to rest. Yesterday around four in the early morning, we were up; Mr. Carter rushed back home at this time, and by the time he gets home, itâll be twelve oâclock, probably canât stay for two hours before he has to rush back."
Jane Sampson did advise James Carter to ask the director for a leave, but James Carter has a strong sense of responsibility and wouldnât let the entire film crew be delayed because of him.
So, James Carter never considered taking a leave.
