"Well, since you donāt believe it either, letās go left. I like the scenery on the left!" Jane Sampson lifted her chin and looked at James Black.
James Black looked at Jane Sampsonās sassy little face and sneered, "What a coincidence, I prefer the scenery on the right."
"Then you go right, Iāll go left." Jane Sampson shook James Blackās hand, but the more she shook, the tighter he held.
So frustrating.
"Nice try." James Black snorted.
"Anyway, you think those words are nonsense, so accompany me to the left. Iām your wife, you need to listen to me! You need to pamper me and give in to me." Jane Sampson started explaining things to James Black, "Otherwise, if I get angry, believe me, Iām tough to appease!"
"Not this time." James Black shook his head, sounding non-negotiable.
The tour guide stood to one side, watching Jane Sampson and James Black argue, worried that this couple might become the first little lovebirds to fall out since the tourism zone opened?
But seeing Jane Sampson puffing her cheeks like a puffer fish glaring at her husband, the tour guide inexplicably found this little Jane so adorable.
Kind of makes you want to pinch her face.
Not at all like the Goddess Sampton from TV.
"Then Iāll go right with you, and when we get back you buy me potato chips?" Jane Sampson gave in and started negotiating with James Black.
"Not buying." James Black replied bluntly.
"I find loving you too burdensome." Jane Sampson gazed at James Black with a mysterious look, "Letās just split up, see you at the next crossroads."
"No splitting." James Black replied smoothly, and seeing Jane Sampson still standing there, he bent down and picked her up in his arms, striding towards the right path.
"Hey hey hey! James Black, thatās cheating! Donāt just resort to force! Take me back! Letās continue arguing!" Jane Sampson kicked her legs trying to struggle back to ground level.
Why should she lose so inexplicably?
Just because heās strong? Does he think heās impressive?
She just wants money!
Just wants money!
Absolutely wants money!
"Keep kicking and Iāll throw you in the river." James Black was on the bridge, with Jane still squirming in his arms, and he held her tighter.
"You wouldnāt dare." Jane Sampson countered confidently, yet wisely stopped squirming for her lifeās sake.
Only when James Black had crossed the stone bridge did he put Jane Sampson back on the ground. Jane Sampson angrily stomped her feet on the ground twice, even reached out to punch James Black a few times.
"Just because youāre strong doesnāt mean youāre all that! The legs are on my body, I can run on my own!"
Saying that, Jane Sampson took off running next to him, under James Blackās watchful eyes, and ran to the left bridge, running back and forth, standing at the bridgehead smiling provocatively at James Black.
"See, didnāt I just come up here?" Jane Sampson turned and ran back and forth again, not pausing to catch her breath, hands on her hips, holding her head high, her stubborn, unyielding attitude on full display, "See! Iām up here again! What can you do about it!"
James Blackās face went darker and darker, darker and darker, then seeing her combative rooster-like demeanor, he ended up smiling in amusement.
"Youāre just going to drive me crazy." James Black stepped over to Jane Sampson, pointed at her nose, "You canāt go a day without bickering with me."
"Honestly, whoās driving whom crazy?" Jane Sampson loudly snorted at James Black and then said, "Really driving me mad!"
That last part was intentionally said for James Black to hear.
