Iād faced off against a Wyvern and a hundred foot

yet just the bones of these creatures dwarfed those two monsters, they were that massive...

The entire place shook violently as my body swayed..
"Woah!" I planted my feet into the hard as metal earth to anchor myself...

Voren stood silently as he looked towards the ominous portal ahead of him, hands clasped behind him as a soft smile played on his lips..

The silence stretched for a moment, Voren not in any hurry to make a move, just when it looked like nothing was going to happen..
"Pooh... old man, canāt you let me have a win for once??" The air shifted as a white tear opened up, Elizabeth stepping out softly, her seductive, short figure wearing a pouting expression as she looked at Voren..
"Hahahahaha... little girl, I may be getting old but Iām far from being senile, youāre still a bit too young to think you can get one over this old man.." Voren laughed, stroking his beard with a fond expression on his face..
"Humph... thatās all you old men know how to do, bully the young.. undying cockroaches all of you, humph.." Elizabeth pouted as she crossed her arms and turned her back, giving the old man a cold shoulder...
"Hahahahahahahaha....." Voren merely laughed, wild, free, amused...
A small smile graced Elizabethās face as she heard the old man laugh...

"Hmm... I didnāt think youād be smitten enough with that young child as to follow him even out here, what if you scare him off.." a silence settled between them before Vorenās question broke it..
"This.. Iām not stalking him.. I just thought youād need back up if anything goes wrong.. yes.. thatās it.." Elizabeth tried defending herself..
"Back up, me? Thatās what youāre going with? Besdes I never mentioned anything about you staking him did I? I merely asked what would happen if you scared him off?"

"Hahahahaha...."

Another silence settled between them, as they both watched the portal silently...
"You know he probably wonāt be making it out of there alive right? None of them are, not if he gets to them." This time it was Elizabethās voice that broke the silence and there was not an ounce of warmth within it..
"Sigh.... So you noticed it too huh? It seems that young man has placed his sights on the young heir candidate, I wonder why..." Voren sighed..
"The why doesnāt matter, what matters is what youāre going to do if Dante gets to them, will you make a move? I hear the church is pretty fond of this one since heās the brother of that arrogant brat within the sanctum."
"Hmmm? And what would you do if I said yes?"
"Then it would be a pity to live in a world where I can no longer hear your voice or laughter old man.."
"Youād go that far for someone you just saw a week ago?"

"Well I guess you donāt have to worry about getting your hands dirty, Iām old now and Iāve already left the church and itās affairs behind, whatever happens within that place is now left to their own personal strengths, whoever is weak enough to die, deserves it, simple as that." A cheerful smile broke out on Elizabethās face as she clapped cheerfully...
"Great, Iām so glad I donāt have to take your colors old man, theyād probably taste nasty anyway.." she made a gagging gesture that just made Voren smile and shake his head..
"Sigh... little Uriah, may the light be with you, youāll need it.."
Voren sighed internally as he focused once more on the swirling crimson portal, hoping yet knowing fully well what fate awaited the weak within such lawless lands..
"Heh.. so much for not being a liar and an optimist."
