Just as most of the threads were severed, a copious amount of thick liquid suddenly spewed from inside the bud.

The liquid was an oily black and emitted a nauseatingly pungent smell.

Seeing this, Cat Gem actually clenched her fists and laughed. "Hee hee, this ’Stupid and Naïve’ is going to have a hard time now!"

Big Black Cat narrowed his eyes and coldly asked, "Would you be happy if your fiancé died here?"

"Of course, I’d be happy! I don’t want to marry him at all!" Cat Gem stated confidently.

In the pitch-black environment, her eyes were as bright as sapphires.

And Big Black Cat’s eyes were much the same.

As fellow felines, their eye colors were remarkably similar.

Hearing Cat Gem’s heartless words, Big Black Cat let out a cold chuckle and licked his lips.

"Big Brother, what are you laughing at?" Cat Gem asked sweetly, turning to look at Big Black Cat.

Big Black Cat raised an eyebrow. "I’m laughing at how heartless you are. Such a ’Stupid and Naïve’ guy, and so strong—you don’t find him attractive at all?"

"I don’t like the strong and rugged type," Cat Gem said with a grin. "I prefer those who are handsome with refined features, charming, and intelligent..."

"Are you talking about me? Why do I get the feeling I’m the person you’re describing?" Big Black Cat scratched his head and said, somewhat shamelessly.

After saying this, he chuckled again before Cat Gem could even speak.

Big Black Cat was smug.

In an instant, he transformed into a streak of black light and darted into another passage.

A flash of saber light cut through the void but hit nothing.

The black-armored man landed, his eyes filled with an incredibly sinister look as he watched the spot where the two had disappeared.

That despicable pair, they got together so quickly. Especially that black-robed young man; he’s utterly shameless. No matter what, I have to kill him. As for any Eternal Life Immortal Grass, I have no interest at all.
