Xaviera Evans casually said, “Right now, there are only two possible explanations. Either Miss Hughes intentionally occupied Lounge 108, forcing me to come to Lounge 109 and faked the note, or Kori Drew was bold enough to write a note to clear himself. Mr. Drew, it’s up to you to explain.”

Clenching his teeth, Boyd Drew realized that Xaviera was forcing him to choose between Zora Hughes and Kori Drew, offending one of them in the process.
