Cory’s eyes turned icy, and as the reporters approached, he fell silent.

“Sir Hughes is too funny. You and Zora wronged me, yet I’m not allowed to refute it? What kind of logic is that? Should I just let you treat me like a soft persimmon that can be freely squeezed?”

Cory’s face turned pale, “This engagement involved both the Hughes and Mamet families, and the whole Hughes family stands by Zora’s side. On what grounds did you marry Mr. Mamet? What qualifications do you have?”
