Xavieraâs heart raced, worried that Caleb Mamet might have seen those emails and start to investigate her relationship with Willie Novak, or perhaps he already knew about Willie before he went to cut off Wesley Taylorâs hand at the Brooke family.
Calebâs eyes, backlit by the light, were dark like a deep pool, but the corners of his mouth carried a faint smile. "I probably came in while you were reading the emails."

"He sent someone to harass me and said he sent me so many emails. I was just curious about what this freak sent me, so I opened them to take a look." Xaviera said huffily.
With affection, Caleb stroked her hair. "If heâs so hateful, Xaviera, stop contacting him and donât meet him anymore."
Xaviera nodded vigorously: "I donât want to contact a madman! Heâs not normal!"
Sean Price and Steve Price, standing at the door, heard the conversation between the two and couldnât help but exchange glances.
They remembered that Mrs. Taylorâs mistreatment of Mrs. Mamet was due to the president, and Wesley Taylorâs coveting of Mrs. Mamet was because of Zora Hughesâs photo. This had nothing to do with Mr. Novak!

"Who would bother me?" Xaviera asked somewhat puzzled.
Director Linstad smiled gently, "Iâm not sure about that either. Maybe you donât often come to Yittaland, so Mr. Caleb is worried about any special circumstances."
Xaviera raised an eyebrow, understanding what was going on. She had already guessed Calebâs intentions. On the surface, Director Linstad seemed to be just an attractive female director, but she was actually no ordinary person.
