"Now that you’ve returned, are you going to take control again? Otherwise, I don’t see myself ever returning."

The Celestial Doctor retrieved a jade slip before casually tossing it into the air toward Yuan, who quickly caught it.

"You can use that to communicate with me directly. If you ever need my help, don’t hesitate to call," she said. "I don’t want to brag, but as the Celestial Doctor, I’m one of the most influential individuals in the Nine Heavens. There’s hardly a sickness or injury I cannot heal, and I have treated countless people throughout the years."

"In that case, I’ll contact you if I ever get hurt." Yuan chuckled.

The Celestial Doctor nodded before falling into a brief moment of silence.

"By the way, have you met that mischievous little girl yet?" she suddenly asked.

"Mischievous little girl? Who are you talking about?" Yuan asked with his eyebrows raised.

"You know... that little girl who used to follow you everywhere. She’s one of the four Celestial Overlords in your faction."

"Oh, you mean Xu Jiaqi? Yeah, I have met her. In fact, she is convinced that I am Tian Yingzhe’s reincarnation—not that I have told her the whole truth, yet."

"Why not? Do you not trust her? You told me about your identity quite easily, even though you don’t even remember me," she said with a somewhat puzzled face.

"No, that’s not it. I met her long before I even began recalling any memories, so I am just waiting for the right time to tell her. She’s also quite busy right now with the Celestial Overlords, and I do not want to distract her. Regardless, she already knows that I am Tian Yingzhe’s reincarnation."

"I’m going to examine the leader now," declared the Celestial Doctor.

The Celestial Doctor went to examine the leader shortly later.

"She has some minor internal injuries. However, it’s nothing serious, and they will heal by themselves," she said a moment later.

"Do you know where she went before returning?" she then asked the elders.

"Well, she had some business with another Royal Phoenix Clan, but I can’t imagine they’d do something like this to her—we’ve always been on good terms. She was probably attacked on her way back or something. We won’t know for sure until she wakes up," explained one of the elders.

The Celestial Doctor then said, "In any case, since I have examined her and determined there’s nothing I can do for her, I’ll be taking my leave now."

"W-What about her weakened bloodline? Is there a fix for that?" One of the elders suddenly asked.

The Celestial Doctor responded without hesitation. "Of course, but it’s going to be very costly. I can already think of a few treasures that could restore her bloodline, but each one is incredibly rare and utterly priceless."

"That’s..."

Naturally, the elders knew of such treasures even without needing the Celestial Doctor to name them, but they were far beyond the reach of even the Rising Phoenix Clan. Even if they somehow managed to acquire these treasures, they wouldn’t dare to use them so carelessly.

"Aside from using such treasures, the only option is for her to slowly restore her bloodline over time," the Celestial Doctor said.

"What do you want us to do?" One of the elders asked.

"We can talk about that once your leader wakes up," he said.

"Okay..."

"Then I’ll take my leave for real now. Until next time." The Celestial Doctor said to Yuan before leaving the Rising Phoenix Clan.

Three days after the Celestial Doctor’s departure, the Sacred Chalice of Purification completed its work, fully cleansing the leader’s curse. Just a few hours later, she finally awoke from her long slumber.
