Chapter 954: Giant Worm

“Someone is indeed following me,” Saul thought.

Saul even wondered if the small red worm that ate Wizard Aurel was a descendant of this giant red worm.

Most importantly, if the Stargate Council’s headquarters was occupied by red worms, how many of the Stargate Council members were still alive?

If Senior Byron really came here, did he discover the red worm, and was he attacked by it?

“I have something urgent, I’m leaving now,” Saul suddenly said, bidding farewell to Jeffrey, who was enthusiastically praising the Star Observatory Tower. He jumped directly out of the public carriage window.

“Huh? Huh?” Jeffrey didn’t understand why Saul had suddenly left. He poked his head out the window, looking forward and backward several times, but couldn’t find any trace of Saul. It seemed as if he had vanished the moment he jumped out the window.

Saul hurried through the streets, constantly using his Fate Lines to sense Byron’s location. He could feel that Byron was still alive, but he couldn’t pinpoint his exact whereabouts.

Either Byron was very far from Saul at the moment, or he had been hidden by someone.

Because Saul was looking for someone with a purpose, he moved very quickly, constantly approaching the Star Observatory Tower.

After the initial surprise, Agu also breathed a sigh of relief. He had been on edge and had a very difficult time these past few days.

“What happened? How was Senior Byron taken away? When did this happen?”

Taking the notes Agu had written, Saul found they contained descriptions of addresses. The information was very discreet; someone unaware of the situation might think Agu was just recording shop addresses.

Because Saul had somewhat anticipated Byron’s situation, he wasn’t flustered. He pulled out a chair, sat down, and sorted through the events with Agu.

Later, they did reunite in the Olga Duchy, but as soon as they arrived at their agreed meeting point, a group of people suddenly appeared and surrounded Byron.

According to Byron’s instructions, if anything happened to him, Agu was not to intervene and should pretend not to know him. Agu followed these instructions.
