Chapter 100: Chapter 100 Dog Training
"Do you know the consequences of your actions?!"
Zhu Baixi gritted her teeth and struggled fiercely, but the more she fought, the more Chen Xiao managed to tighten his hold, exploiting the gaps in her movements. Finally, his waist was locked firmly between her thighs. No matter how she kicked, she couldnât reach him. Instead, the friction of their clothes sent a strange heat spreading through her body.
"Donât move!" Chen Xiao hissed, taking a sharp breath. The temperature where their bodies were pressed together grew scorching hot.
This position, for a woman like Zhu Baixi who was used to being in control, was both humiliating and infuriating.
"Last warning. Let me go," she said, the words emerging icily from her lips.
She was like a lamb to the slaughter, completely powerless. She found the feeling deeply unsettling. How long had it been since she last felt this way, ever since she began consolidating her power? The masculine scent wafting from Chen Xiao, in particular, was making her heart pound inexplicably fast.
Chen Xiao pushed his hips forward slightly, intensifying their contact. Zhu Baixi was struck by the terrifying thought that he could overpower her at any moment!
Chen Xiao enunciated each word clearly. "You want to kill Jiang Tianyi, but you donât dare to do it yourself. So, you provided me with the intelligence to get rid of him. Now you want to use that favor to make me deal with Jiang Tianquan, right?"
"Iâm not as bad as you think," Zhu Baixi said. "The Jiang Family already has you in their sights! You have only yourself to blame for impulsively moving against Jiang Tianyi, so siding with me is your only way out."
Chen Xiao shook his head with a smile. "Iâm afraid if I really killed Jiang Quan, you would immediately discard me like a pawn. Do you really think anyone is foolish enough to fall for your trap?"
Zhu Baixi was speechless. This was indeed her plan; Chen Xiao was just a pawn in her scheme. If he were successfully manipulated, she could simply sit back and reap the rewards. Everything she had just told him was nothing but empty promises. A woman like her didnât need a man.
Seeing her silence, Chen Xiao knew he had guessed correctly.
"One last question. Who are you?"
A smile curved Zhu Baixiâs lips. "Why dig so deep? Isnât it enough that we share a common goal?"
Chen Xiao shook his head. "Sorry, but weâre not cut from the same cloth, and I donât like being used. As for your favor, I have no intention of returning it."
Chen Xiao slowly let her go and turned to leave.
Zhu Baixi shot up from the sofa, rubbing her still-bruised wrists.
"Still not considering it?" Zhu Baixi sneered. "Right now, Iâm speaking to you nicely and sincerely inviting you to work for me."
Chen Xiao couldnât be bothered to continue the pointless exchange and simply sat down on a nearby sofa. "If Iâm not mistaken, youâre deliberately stalling for time, arenât you? Now, theyâre here."
With his extraordinary hearing, Chen Xiao sensed two figures rapidly approaching the door. Their footfalls were swift and light, marking them as experts.
A flicker of surprise flashed through Zhu Baixiâs eyes. She hadnât expected him to see through her stalling tactic so quickly. But what good would it do him?
BANG!
Two figures burst through the door. They exchanged a glance and strode toward Chen Xiao, their eyes radiating an intense pressure.
Chen Xiao could tell at a glance that these two were exceptionally skilledâstronger than anyone he had encountered before.
Seeing her reinforcements had arrived, Zhu Baixi dropped the pretense. She shot Chen Xiao a cold glance before sitting back down on the sofa.
"Miss Zhu, your orders!" the two men said, bowing respectfully.
Zhu Baixi waved her hand and fixed her gaze on Chen Xiao. "Chen Xiao, I know you have some skill. However, these two men are Mid Grandmaster Stage experts! In all of Jinling, they are considered top-tier masters! You might be able to kill those Early Grandmaster Stage Martial Artists, but youâre no match for them."
"Is that so?" A smirk played on Chen Xiaoâs lips.
Zhu Baixi scoffed. "You knew I was calling for reinforcements, yet you dared to play along. Should I call you brave, or just reckless? Your downfall today is your overconfidence."
"Me, overconfident?" Chen Xiao laughed. "Or could it be that youâre the one who has underestimated me?"
Zhu Baixi shook her head. "I have a clear understanding of your strength, which is why I arranged for not one, but two Mid Grandmasters. Itâs double insurance. You have no chance of resisting.
"However... even now, Iâm still willing to give you a chance."
As she spoke, she pulled a leash with a collar out from under the table. She tugged it hard. CRACK! The leash snapped through the air.
"Iâll give you two choices. First, put this on, kneel, and crawl over to lick my feet. Acknowledge me as your master, and you will obey my every command from now on.
"Second, I cripple you and hand you over to the Jiang Family to claim my reward. In the end, you will not escape death.
"A wise man adapts to the circumstances, Chen Xiao. Youâd better make your decision before I change my mind. After all, my patience is limited."
As she spoke, she slipped off her high heels, revealing her snow-white feet. She wiggled them provocatively at Chen Xiao.
"Be my dog or die. Choose."
Goosebumps prickled Chen Xiaoâs skin. He hadnât expected this woman to have such a depraved side. Her proposition was meant to completely shatter his dignity and force him into submission like a trained dog. She had, however, severely miscalculated.
"Kid, youâd better make a wise decision," one of the men said. "We donât want to have to kill a talent like you. Kneeling and becoming her slave is your only option. Otherwise, donât blame us for being ruthless."
Ignoring their threats, Chen Xiao turned to Zhu Baixi and asked calmly, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Zhu Baixi raised her chin, commanding him like a queen. "Put it on. Crawl to me. From now on, you will be my obedient little dog."
Chen Xiao suddenly laughed. "It seems youâre serious. But... that is an interesting suggestion.
"Iâd also like to see what it feels like... to train a dog."
