Although the bathtub wasn't very large, it didn't feel crowded with the two of them. Ye Tian and Ye Feifei both cast aside all distracting thoughts, focusing wholeheartedly on absorbing the energy that had appeared inside their bodies.
As time passed, the energy within their bodies was slowly absorbed. There wasn't much energy inside Ye Feifei, so she finished absorbing it before Ye Tian did.
She then quietly slipped out of the tub, went to her room, and changed into some clothes. The only thing was, she felt a little sore in a certain place when she walked.
Ye Feifei could clearly feel that her power had increased after absorbing the energy. She had miraculously reached the peak of the One Vein Seventh Layer and was confident it wouldn't be long before she could break through to the Eighth Layer.
She wasn't sure if this counted as a blessing in disguise, but she felt that being able to relieve Ye Tian of his suffering made it all worthwhile. Even if her power hadn't increased in the slightest, she would have had no regrets.
If Ye Feifei were to carefully inspect her body at that moment, she might have discovered a golden feather trembling slightly in her Dantian. A ripple of energy pulsed across its surface; these were the faint signs of a breach in the Phoenix Essence Feather's Barrier.

Ye Tian opened his eyes, his face ecstatic. 'I can't believe I broke through to the One Vein Eighth Layer! My power has grown so much.' He had a feeling that now, no one in Lisha City's younger generation was a match for him.
But when he thought about what he had done to Ye Feifei, a pang of guilt struck him. He secretly vowed to himself, 'I will treat her well for the rest of my life. She's my first woman, after all. For her sake, I must become even stronger and give her the best life possible.'
Ye Tian circulated his Dragon Spiritual Power for another two Circulations before finally getting out of the tub. He then took a set of clothes from his Storage Ring and put them on.
Seeing Ye Tian emerge, Ye Feifei immediately walked over. "Brother Tian, how are you feeling? You scared me to death earlier! What in the world was going on?"
Ye Tian looked at Ye Feifei's worried expression and said, "Feifei, thank you. Your tenderness and thoughtfulness have deeply moved me. Now that we've been intimate, perhaps I should tell you a few things."
Ye Tian no longer wanted to hide things from her. Ye Feifei was not an outsider; she now had the right to know his secrets.
Ye Feifei paused, slightly taken aback. For Ye Tian to say this, it had to be something serious. She smiled and said, "What's so mysterious? Don't tell me it has something to do with your recent power increase?"
"That's right! I was born with a Pure Yang Body. When I have intimate contact with the person I love, my Pure Yang Qi manifests and runs rampant, destroying my meridians.
"This Pure Yang Qi is a double-edged sword. If it can be absorbed, it's an incredibly powerful source of Energy. If it can't be suppressed, I could die from my body exploding. You used your own body to save me from that crisis, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart!" Ye Tian explained.
Even so, he still decided not to mention the Dragon Pearl within him. It wasn't that he didn't trust Ye Feifei, but the truth of the Dragon Pearl was simply too world-shaking. He was afraid she wouldn't be able to accept it all at once.
Hearing Ye Tian's explanation, Ye Feifei seemed to understand. Women were of the Yin element and possessed powerful Yin Qi. A virgin's Yin Qi was even more potent, which was why she had been able to easily suppress Ye Tian's Pure Yang Qi.
And because this Pure Yang Qi was also a potent form of energy, she had absorbed a great deal of it herself, which was why her Power Realm had increased.
'If I were to do that with Brother Tian often, wouldn't my power increase even faster?' The thought suddenly popped into Ye Feifei's mind, and her stunningly beautiful face instantly flushed red.
Ye Tian didn't know what she was thinking. Seeing her blush, he assumed she was just recalling their passionate encounter from earlier.
"Brother Tian, is there any other way to handle this Pure Yang Qi? What if someday I'm not with you and it flares up again? What would you do then?" Ye Feifei asked immediately, voicing her greatest concern.
Ye Tian felt conflicted about this question himself. It was strange. 'I was deeply in love with Ye Shixue before, and I was around her just as much as I'm around Feifei, so why didn't this ever happen back then? Could it be because of the Dragon Pearl?'
Ye Tian pushed the vexing question aside. He had come here today for a specific reason; crossing that final line with Ye Feifei was a complete and utter accident he had never anticipated.
"I'm not sure about that myself! Perhaps as long as we don't get too intimate, the Pure Yang Qi won't act up! Don't you worry about me. I'll be fine!" Ye Tian said, though he sounded uncertain. He really didn't know the answer.
Ye Feifei didn't want to press him further. "It's late. Was there a reason you came to see me today? Don't leave tonight, okay? I want to spend a quiet night with you!"
Ye Tian glanced out the window. He hadn't realized that his intense session with Ye Feifei, combined with absorbing the Pure Yang Qi, had taken up most of the day. 'That's pretty impressive,' he thought.
"I'm planning to go to the back mountains for my Cultivation. I can really let loose there. The family's Martial Arts Training Ground isn't suitable for practicing my Martial Skills!" Ye Tian finally explained his reason for coming.
"Brother Tian, the only reason the Grand Elder hasn't moved against you yet is that he hasn't found the right opportunity. If you leave the Ye Family grounds, you'll be giving him the perfect chance to strike. You'll be in danger," Ye Feifei said, her tone grave.
Ye Tian had already considered what she said. 'But with Elder Qing protecting me in secret, I have nothing to fear. In fact, my only concern is that the Grand Elder and his cronies *won't* come after me. If they dare, I'll make them disappear from this world, just like Ye Hongtao.'
"Don't worry about it. The place I plan to use for my Cultivation is deep in Demon Beast territory; ordinary people won't find me. I'll be back to see you in a month at most!" Ye Tian said.
Ye Feifei frowned slightly, deep in thought. A moment later, she said, "Brother Tian, I'm still worried. If you're going to the back mountains, then I'm going too. A wife should follow her husband! Don't even think about leaving me behind!"
