Ye Weitian and Qin Wushuang both looked toward Ye Tian and Ye Feifei. Their expressions were especially strange when they looked at Ye Tian, a look of disbelief on their faces.
Qin Xiaowan was still in Ye Tian's arms, creating a rather intimate scene. Perhaps it was the stares from Ye Weitian and Qin Wushuang that made her face heat up rapidly. "Ye Tian, put me down, quickly!" she whispered to him.
Only then did Ye Tian realize he was still holding Qin Xiaowan. Perhaps only someone as oblivious as him would be so casual about it.
Ye Weitian and Qin Wushuang, however, had different thoughts running through their minds. Ye Weitian didn't understand why Ye Tian was holding Qin Xiaowan, or why Ye Feifei hadn't stopped him. 'Could it be that she approves of their relationship?'
Qin Wushuang, on the other hand, was furious. 'That brat Ye Tian is so audacious, daring to take advantage of my daughter! But looking at Xiaowan, she doesn't seem to be refusing... Don't tell me my daughter has fallen for him? I came here to demand retribution!'
Just then, Ye Feifei's words snapped the two men out of their astonishment. "Father, what's going on? Why did you all start fighting?"
The arrival of Ye Tian and Ye Feifei brought the fight between the two great families to a temporary halt. Both sides retreated to their respective camps, but the killing intent in their eyes hadn't diminished in the slightest. A new clash could erupt at any moment.

Qin Xiaowan slowly walked toward Qin Wushuang. Her face was pale, but she seemed much more lucid. "Father, Ye Tian didn't hurt me on purpose. In fact, he saved me. I wanted to come back to stop this fight, so I had him carry me. It has nothing to do with him!"
"'Nothing to do with him?' You are a young lady from a respectable family, yet you say it's nothing after being carried at full speed in a man's arms? Besides, he nearly killed your older brother! If I don't kill him today, how will I ever quell this rage in my heart?" Qin Wushuang said, his expression turning ugly.
Ye Tian remained silent, quietly watching Qin Wushuang. 'How should I deal with him?' he thought. 'Should I just kill him, or should I spare him for Qin Xiaowan's sake? Even if I let him go, he'll have to pay a price.'
'I can't just let the matter with the Black Iron Guard slide. And now he brings his family here to settle scores with me. If I don't teach him a lesson, he'll really think I'm a pushover.'
"The fault doesn't lie with Ye Tian! He promised me he wouldn't kill my brother, but my brother was the one who used the Bursting Fire Talisman! In the end, he still spared him.
