He then went out to find some dry branches, lit a fire, and began to roast the meat. Meanwhile, the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python pulled the Snake King aside to talk.
"Snake King, I need to absorb the Energy from the Thunder Crow King's body. This could take some time, so I need you to protect my boss well. You absolutely cannot let anything happen to him," the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python said in a very serious tone.
"Rest assured, King," the Snake King laughed. "I will do everything in my power to protect the Young Master. I look forward to the surprise you'll bring us all when you emerge."
The Eight-winged Golden Scale Python came to Ye Tian's side and said, "Boss, I should break the Barrier for you before I go. Otherwise, you won't be able to enter the High-Level Demon Beast Region."
Ye Tian smiled faintly. "Ye Lin, I know that breaking the Barrier will consume a lot of your Spiritual Power. Don't worry, I'll be sure to make it up to you in the future."
"Boss, what are you talking about?" said the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python. "I'm your Demon Pet, bound to you by a Soul Contract. Without you, there is no me. We're one and the same. I also want to see your strength increase quickly."
Ye Tian was deeply moved. 'Having the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python must be a gift from the heavens,' he thought. 'I will treasure and protect him all the more for it.'

The surrounding space began to tremble violently. Even Ye Tian and the others inside the cave were terrified, feeling as if the cave was about to collapse around them. They had no choice but to run outside.
Bolts of Thunder Power continuously shot from the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python's antennae, striking the void. This consumed a massive amount of Energy, but the python paid it no mind. Its only thought was to break the Barrier so Ye Tian could pass through.
After a long moment, the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python cried out, "Boss, the Barrier is broken! Go, quickly!"
Ye Tian looked at the three women and said, "Take care of yourselves. Don't worry about my safety. With the Snake King to protect me, I'll be fine."
The Eight-winged Golden Scale Python's body was trembling; it had clearly reached its limit. With a single thought, Ye Tian recalled the python into his body, then quickly walked toward the rift in the Barrier.
The Snake King followed him through the broken Barrier. A few breaths later, they both vanished, leaving the three women staring reluctantly after them. Tears welled in Ye Feifei's eyes. 'We only just saw each other again after so long, and now we're separated again.' The feeling was truly unbearable.
