Gu Manli rolled her eyes, "Didnât you notice that some of the bosses at the dinner table today werenât bringing their wives, but their daughters?"
Bai Hongguang was puzzled, "What do you mean?"
Gu Manli glared at Bai Hongguang, "Are you stupid! What is Leng Yichen now? A bachelor diamond king, right? Those who brought their daughters are obviously doing it for Leng Yichen, hoping he might fancy one of their daughters and become their son-in-law! Look at those girls at the dinner table today, which one is prettier than our Qianyu! As long as our Qianyu wins over Leng Yichen, then youâll be Leng Yichenâs father-in-law, what project could you not get? You could walk freely across Huamei!"
Bai Hongguang thought for a moment and seemed to find it a feasible plan, "Would Qianyu agree to this? Isnât she completely focused on that boy named Luo Chen?"

That Leng Yichen is truly a rare diamond bachelor, I already found out, Leng Yichen is currently staying at the Mingjing Hotel, and he visits the hotel bar every night. You should go there tomorrow, with your looks, try some tactics, maybe heâll become interested in you. As long as you cook the rice and make it a done deal with Leng Yichen! Then you can live like a queen!"

"Mom! How can you be so superficial? This is true love, donât you understand? Iâm not going anyway. Tomorrow is the school anniversary, and I have to make a stunning appearance!"
Gu Manli looked at her silly daughter and sternly said, "I donât care; you must see Leng Yichen tomorrow. If you donât go, Iâll cut off your allowance!"
"Mom, donât push me! Otherwise, Iâll run away from home! Anyway, itâs only Luo Chen for me!"
