Li Lan was displeased upon hearing Bai Yiranās words, and immediately spoke to Wu Chengzu pitifully, "Brother-in-law, I asked my husband, and he said he caught Jingjing stealing money, so he said a few words to her. Who knew sheād run off, and when my husband chased after her, he happened to bump into this lady." Upon hearing Li Lan, Wu Chengzu looked at Wu Jingjing with a face full of disbelief, "Youāve even learned to steal money now?"

Bai Yiran also felt that what Wu Jingjingās aunt had said was questionable, "Mr. Wu, I think itās better to investigate this matter thoroughly, donāt wrongly accuse the child..."

You can leave now."
Bai Yiran raised her eyebrows slightly. It was clear that Wu Chengzu didnāt want her getting further involved in this matter. After all, it was a family affair, and as an outsider, it wouldnāt be appropriate for her to get involved too deeply.

"No need." Bai Yiran said and then left.
