Sister Liu was amused by these two children and looked up as Leng Yichen came out. She stood up immediately, "Sir, are you and Yiran okay?"

Leng Yichen nodded, "Everything’s fine, don’t worry."

Sister Liu sighed, "Seeing how you both came back, I thought... Now that you have children, don’t torment yourselves. Always think of the children!"

Normally, it was beyond Sister Liu’s role as the household maid to say such things to Leng Yichen.

But in this household, Sister Liu had become more than just a maid; unknowingly, Leng Yichen and Bai had started considering her family.

"I understand." Leng Yichen adjusted his shirt cuffs, showing no change in expression because of Sister Liu’s words.

Seeing Leng Yichen respond that way, Sister Liu felt relieved, "Are you leaving now? It’s almost dinner time."

"Yes, there’s something I need to take care of." He glanced toward the bedroom, continuing, "She’s sleeping, call her when it’s time to eat."

Sister Liu looked at Leng Yichen’s concern for his wife with a smile, her previous doubts dissipated.

"Sister Liu, there’s another matter I’m entrusting to you, and you must do it well."

Seeing Leng Yichen’s serious expression, Sister Liu became earnest too, "Alright."

"From now on, if I’m not home, keep an eye on Bai Yiran for me. Inform me of any of her movements immediately!"

Sister Liu froze; was Leng Yichen asking her to monitor Bai Yiran?

Upon hearing his stern words, Sister Liu dared not ask further and agreed directly.

When Bai Yiran woke up, she realized Leng Yichen wasn’t home, and upon asking Sister Liu, learned the man had already left.

After dinner, Bai Yiran felt guilty for not taking Xiao Lang out to play in the morning, so she planned to take him to the nearby park for a walk and help with digestion as well.

After changing clothes and tidying up the two kids, Bai Yiran had just opened the front door when she was stunned to find two men standing outside.

"Who are you?" Sister Liu clutched her clothes tightly, looking somewhat frightened at the two men.

Bai Yiran’s expression wasn’t good either; what was going on?

The two men nodded politely to Bai Yiran and then spoke in a deep voice, "Madam, Mr. Leng has instructed us to stand here."

Bai Yiran’s face darkened, "Why are you stationed here?"

"As of today, all activities outside the house are forbidden for Madam."

The two men continuously nodded, keeping their heads down, not daring to meet Bai Yiran’s eyes. In truth, the gaze from the President’s wife was terrifying enough to kill!

Bai Yiran had never imagined that Leng Yichen was serious about what he had said earlier. Now, she realized she was completely under his soft detention here!
