Elder Maxwell led Ace in the middle of the Scripture Hall and said, "Sit down in a meditative position, and calm your mind. This is a Heaven Grade Cultivation Technique. If your mind is not at peace, you will suffer a terrible backlash from it."
Ace nodded solemnly before following Elder Maxwellâs instructions. After making sure Ace was in the right state, Elder Maxwell suddenly pointed his finger towards a bright golden star within the Scripture Hall.
The next moment, the golden star suddenly trembled before it shot down as if pulled by an invisible force. The golden star became bigger as it approached them, and Ace instantly sensed a profound aura emitting from this star. This was his first time encountering Heaven Grade knowledge, which was extraordinary.
Just when the golden star was a few meters away, almost blinding everything with its brilliance, a powerful Qi erupted from Elder Maxwell and enveloped the entire star.
Suddenly, the star started to compress, and soon, its enormous size was reduced to a small palm-sized jade scroll shimmering with golden light.
"Close your eyes and absorb everything, you wonât get another chance." Elder Maxwell solemnly stated.
Ace quickly closed his eyes and pretended to be slightly nervous, but in actuality, he wasnât worried in the least bit because his avatarâs knowledge sea wasnât normal at all.
Elder Maxwell then placed his finger on the glowing jade scroll before he pulled back. A fine string of gold suddenly shot out, and he flickered his finger, sending the golden string towards Aceâs glabella.
At this moment, Ace felt foreign knowledge entering his mind, and it was filled with warmth. Elder Maxwell meticulously controlled the knowledge within the jade scroll, so Ace could easily absorb it without any consequences.
"Scripture of Myriad Nature Changes...nature is a cycle of changes, day, night represent intent of nature, light, dark contain essence of nature..."
Word by word, the scripture of Myriad Nature Changes imprinted itself within Aceâs mind. Ace was astounded by this lower Heaven grade cultivation technique. As Elder Maxwell said, this technique contained all the laws occurring in nature and their initial comprehension.
Furthermore, as long as someone has any prime law imprinted in this technique, itâll show them the optimal path to cultivating their inner world, turning it into a world of nature as its final form. Every path leads to the world of nature, and only now does Ace understand how powerful and profound a heaven-grade technique is.
Nonetheless, this was still far from his own cultivation technique, not to mention the Law of Twilight within this scripture was thoroughly lacking in front of the Law of Holy Twilight. But the insights of Twilight Law were extremely helpful and provided a deep understanding of its mystic abilities.
But the truly remarkable part was the law of Nature contained in this scripture, which was extremely difficult to comprehend.
After an unknown time, Aceâs knowledge of the Scripture of Myriad Nature Changes was thoroughly imprinted into his mind. Furthermore, he found a hidden restriction within this knowledge that prevented him from imparting it to someone else. But for Ace, this restriction was as good as nothing.
"Good!" Elder Maxwellâs jolly voice jolted him awake.
But when Ace saw Elder Maxwell, he was astounded because the old manâs face was slightly pale. It was evident that the old man had given his all to ensure nothing could go wrong with this process.
"Thank you, teacher." Ace sincerely thanked him.
"Haha, as long as everything is fine." Elder Maxwell waved his hand. His mood was clearly good before he flicked his finger, and the jade scroll turned into a shooting star and regained its position in the scripture hallâs âskyâ.
"Letâs leave before that old nuisance comes back. We still have to stop by the Prosperity Law Hall." Elder Maxwell started to walk towards the exit without any intention of staying here for any longer, and Ace quickly followed behind.
âProsperity Law Hall? What secret is hidden in this place?â
Ace was looking forward to it since this place was the core of the PHW King Sect, the wealthiest sect of the Mortal Assassin Heaven.
Just the knowledge in this one hall was enough to cause bloody wars throughout Mortal Ascension Heaven. Furthermore, the âPrime Heavenly Bankâ was also controlled by the PHW King Sect, which contained countless treasures of cultivators from all over Mortal Ascension Heaven. This entire sect was a treasure trove, and Ace really didnât want to leave it like this.
Once they left the Scripture Hall, the gate closed on its own before they quickly made their way towards the Prosperity Law Hall.
However, unlike the scripture hall, Elder Maxwell didnât step forward to open it. Instead, he looked at Ace and said, "Take out your disciple badge."
Ace complied, took out his Evil Slaying Divisionâs disciple badge, and handed it over to Elder Maxwell.
Elder Maxwell glanced at the âEvil Slayingâ and snorted before he enveloped the badge in pale golden spirit Qi. The next moment, the black âEvil Slayingâ engraving on it suddenly changed into the golden âProsperity Skyâ.
He handed Ace his badge and said, "This is your new identity badge and proof of your Prosperity Disciple identity. Iâve also added âSect Meritsâ, which the sect allocated to you.
"Furthermore, every month, youâll be given 50 hours of time within the Prosperity Law Hall and 100 hours in the Training Hall. Use them wisely, or youâll need to use Merit Points to gain more time." Elder Maxwell explained before he finally opened the door without explaining anything else.
When the gate of the Prosperity Law Hall opened, the scenery behind it was completely different from that of the Scripture Hall.
It was a massive space filled with golden hues. In the center of this space was a towering, dark golden monolith with ethereal white strips on its smooth jade surface.
Furthermore, aligned around this monolith were stone cubicles filled with runic markings. The moment Ace saw that monolith, he instantly felt a profound law emanating from it. Its presence was far stronger than any law; it was as if the origin of law was right in front of him!
