For this exact reason, Damien was baffled by Aceās peculiar situation; this was something he had no idea how to deal with.
On the other hand, Ace also felt Damienās piercing gaze on him, and for a moment, his heart raced as he became alert.

Because of the Blood Bondage Contract, the Prosperity Matriarch had absolute trust in Ace, and earlier, she had integrated him. Since he hadnāt admitted to claiming the Law Legacy, she believed him.
