Ace confirmed again, "Are you referring to the Undead Boundary? This formation made with the Transcendent Void Obsidian is the Undead Boundary youâve just mentioned, right?"
Ace was almost certain that he was right because Moira also told him that she only felt the presence of the Transcendent Void Obsidian when he crossed into the Undead Boundary, but she couldnât pinpoint its exact location because it wasnât in the compass range yet.
However, if the Transcendent Void Obsidian was really transfused into the Undead Boundary, everyone would make sense, and Pixy seemed to know about this, so she continued to drop obvious hints instead of simply telling him outright.
"Hehehe~, after giving you so many hints, if you still havenât able to figure it out, I wouldâve cut ties with you here and now." Pixy snickered while confirming Aceâs theory.
Aceâs eyes narrowed with a hint of exasperation because Pixy was starting to annoy him by beating around the bush and not giving him such important information.
He stated, pursing his lips, "You couldâve told me from the start instead of going to such lengths to waste our time."
Pixy playfully retorted, "Hehe~ thatâs your fault for not seeking the help of great me."
Aceâs expression sank slightly, "Youâre getting ahead of yourself."
"Alright, donât be angry about something this small, I told you anyway, right?" Pixy quickly shifted the subject, "Anyway, since youâre already on the right track, itâll be easier for you to understand what you need to do, and you wonât have to go through the trouble of searching for the treasures blindly.
Ace wanted to berate, but Pixy had a point. Now he didnât need to take the risk of lurking in the Corpse Clan territory and inviting unwanted danger, or risk exposing his disguise.
Nonetheless, he still needs to find where the formation or the âcoreâ of the Undead Boundary lies, and knowing just how important it was for the Corpse Clan, it will be in the most secure location and heavily guarded.
In fact, this was akin to doing thievery in a King Sect back in the Mortal Ascension Heaven, which was way above the current Ace.
But he canât miss the chance to get his hands on Transcendent Void Obsidian and whatever Pixy was about to reveal, and this time was also perfect because almost all the eyes within the Corpse Clan will be on the Great Corpse Carnival, and the Corpse Cultivators present here will be at a minimum!
Lastly, the Corpse Clan was completely convinced that no living being could infiltrate the Undead Boundary, much less a thief like the Sky Stealer, so Ace also had an element of surprise.
Pixy continued furtively as if already knowing Aceâs trail of thoughts, "Now that we are on the same page, this formation you called the Undead Boundary indeed has Transcendent Void Obsidian infused with it.
"It had been fused into the foundational layers of the Boundaryâs formation core; it did not merely reinforce the barrier against intrusion. It altered how the entire enclosed region interacted with causality.
"To outsiders, the Undead Boundary became less like a fixed territory and more like a blind spot. However, this concealment is not absolute, for the Transcendent Void Obsidian could not erase existence from fate itself; it just obscured it.
"Thatâs why to make the Undead Boundary unbreakable and undividable at the same time, there is one more material required, and this material could only be formed at places with a large deposit of the Transcendent Void Obsidian, and even more rare!"
Realization dawned at Ace at that moment as he sharply said, "And let me guess, this other material is the thing that you want me to get?"
"Hehe~ Iâm afraid youâll get this material whether you want it or not because the Undead Boundary is a formation, and the Transcendent Void Obsidian and that material are both infused with it.
"Youâll have to take the whole thing before finding a way to safely extract those materials. Letâs just forget about extracting those materials, which is going to be an almost impossible task. You also have to take control of this formation, and in your current realm, itâs more than impossible unless you have my help!" Pixy said matter-of-factly with a hint of arrogance.
âWell, I can absolutely extract Transcendent Void Obsidian, and probably all the materials intact as long as I increase my dismantler principles.â
Ace thought without any intention of telling Pixy about his exclusive profession, as he wanted to give a blow to this arrogant Primal Spiritâs pride.
But for the latter part, Ace really couldnât think of anything, and as Pixy said, he might really need her help, just like he did with the Ghost King.
"How much is it going to cost me this time?" Ace asked hesitantly, because using Pixyâs abilities was really expensive.
This time Pixy didnât reply promptly but mulled over it for a little while before she replied wryly, "Sorry, but I canât give you an accurate number this time because this formation is most likely beyond the Law State, and if you want to decrease its grade up to your standards, Iâm afraid, itâll probably going to cost you, your entire fortune!"
Ace inhaled sharply as his heart sank, but now that he knew about what kind of treasure he was dealing with, he knew Pixy wasnât exaggerating this time around.
âEven if Iâm tempted by the grade of this treasure, itâll be useless to me since I wonât be able to use it with my current cultivation realm. But thief points are something that I need at any moment.
â
Furthermore, thereâs also a chance that I might find the Transcendent Void Obsidian and whatever Pixy wants in the future, and the risk might not be that high as well.
âMoreover, itâs not like Moira needs it right away since there are still other materials required for the completion scheme...â
Ace suddenly found himself in a dilemma after his earlier confident mindset, since this plan now required too much capital and posed equally high risks.
Yet, he was still unwilling to just let this opportunity pass by as he thought,
âHowever, what if I include the returning thief points after I stole not only that formation but also emptied the treasuries of the Corpse Clan!â
