"Boss, this is our turf! Those three Demons are just asking to die. They actually dared to order us to scram!"
"Yeah, wait until we get them. Weâll teach them a lesson. They need to know this is the Outer Cityâareas even the Ruling Families canât touch!"
"Alright, guys, letâs get into position!"
Hearing this, Raphaelâs desperate eyes suddenly lit up. He thrashed wildly, trying to seize this chance to survive.
Those drunks he had beaten up earlier had just become his only hope of life.
"Fate hasnât abandoned me yet, I..."Raphaelâs eyes widened in horror as Aiden raised his golden-flamed sword without any change in expression.
"Donât struggle. Even if Ethan showed up, I would still kill you," Aiden said calmly.
Zing!
The golden sword sliced through Raphaelâs chest as easily as cutting paper.
Then, Aiden flicked his wrist. With a simple First Class, the golden-blade of fire suddenly appeared right next to Raphaelâs heart.
The terrifying Divine Golden Sunflame began to sear his heart.
"Aaaaaah!" Raphaelâs face turned as pale as white paper. His muscles locked tight, his veins bulged, and he let out a blood-curdling scream.
This pain was far worse than before; it was utterly unbearable.
In his agony, Raphael could only pin his hopes on the Abyss creatures arriving any second now.
Through his daze of pain, he heard voices from afar:
"Boss, whatâs that sound?"
"I donât know. Something must have happened."
"Should we go check it out?"
"Letâs move, but stay alert. It could be dangerous!"
Aiden glanced back at Hazel, then at the succubus Alice, who was slumped on the ground, trembling in fear.
He had returned to his original form. However, as long as Hazel and Alice were with him, the moment other Abyss creatures saw them, his identity as a Slaughter Demon would be exposed.
Aiden paused for a moment, then simply raised his right arm toward the approaching footsteps.
In an instant, the Scorpion Gloves flared with black light. Three ten-centimeter-long poison spikes shot out from the gloves with terrifying speed.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The spikes, infused with deadly poison, plunged into the ground, hissing as they corroded the earth.
Suddenly, a loud shout echoed from afar: "Whoâs there! This is Lord Zoelâs territory! No matter which faction of the Heartspire you belong to, if you anger Lord Zoel, youâre dead!"
Zoel?
Aiden furrowed his brow slightly. He took a deep breath, forcing his voice to sound full of arrogance and disdain, then shouted back:
"What is Zoel, anyway? The Dawn Society is on a mission. If you donât want to die, get lost!"
He couldnât just leave Raphael and Draw behind. The best move now was to scare the Abyss creatures away and make them leave on their own.
So, he decided to bluff by claiming they were from the powerful and mysterious Dawn Society.
Of course, if that failed, there was another option: kill all those Abyss creatures as fast as possible.
That way, no secrets would be exposed.
The Shadow Death Beam skill was the perfect tool for this. Aiden had learned it long ago but had never actually used it.
Using this skill to eliminate the Abyss creatures would be much safer.
"What is the Dawn Society? Boss, have you ever heard of them?"
"Damn it, weâre in trouble."
"Run! Run! We have to go back and tell Lord Zoel!"
"Split up! Scatter and run!"
The footsteps returned, but this time they were chaotic and fleeing in a complete panic.
Aiden let out a sigh of relief. It seemed the Dawn Society was indeed very famous in the Abyss.
Even for Aiden, his knowledge of the Dawn Society was limited; he had only encountered their members a few times.
"Hsssss!" Raphaelâs throat let out a heavy, painful sound.
His hope was shattered.
Aiden turned his head and looked at Raphael with a calm expression. "Donât worry," he whispered, "I wonât let you die so easily."
"Werenât you so happy and excited when you tortured that pregnant woman?"
"Why donât you laugh like that again?"
Aiden raised his sword once more, slowly bringing it down toward Raphaelâs cheek.
Intense heat instantly seared the flesh on Raphaelâs face.
Hazel, watching from the side, instinctively closed her eyes. Meanwhile, succubus Alice trembled all over, and a cloudy fluid began to pool between her legs.
Even as Raphaelâs breathing grew fainter and he neared death, Aiden felt no mercy.
All he could think about was that pregnant woman and the child, not yet fully formed, who had been eaten alive.
If he killed Raphael quickly now, how could he complete the Judgment?
One or two minutes later, Raphael finally couldnât take it anymore. He whispered weakly:
"Aiden... spare me."
"Please, let me die."
"Please... cough... if you just kill me quickly, I can tell you a secret."
"There is a huge danger hiding among humans. If you spare me..."
Aiden frowned slightly, then quickly smoothed his expression. He spoke in a low voice:
"The secret you speak of, I should already know."
"Itâs Goust, isnât it?"
Raphaelâs eyes widened in pure disbelief and shock.
"You... how did you know that?"
Aiden didnât answer. Instead, he slowly lifted his foot and pressed it onto Raphaelâs head.
He didnât use his full Strength all at once. He increased the pressure gradually, like a hydraulic press, slowly crushing Raphaelâs skull until it deformed.
"Aaaaaah! Aiden! You canât change the fate of the Earth being taken over by the Abyss race!"
"Every human will become a slave... they will all..." Raphael hissed with venom.
Boom!
Sprays of bright red blood and white brain matter flew everywhere.
Aiden looked at his shoe in disgust, stomped hard on the ground to clean it off, and then walked toward Draw and succubus Alice.
Weak and trembling, succubus Alice jolted when she saw Aiden approaching her. Without hesitation, she immediately dropped to her knees, babbling frantically:
"It has nothing to do with me! I didnât want to hurt you!"
"Really! I-itâs not my fault! Spare me, please spare me!"
"By the way, Iâm a succubus! Once I recover, I can be your slave and obey any command of yours!"
"Please! Please spare me!"
Whoosh!
A flash of golden sword light cut through the air.
With a blank expression, Aiden severed succubus Aliceâs limbs. He then handed his longsword to Hazel.
"Sheâs your responsibility now. Thereâs still a Demon waiting for me to handle."Holding the Abyss Flame Demon staff, Aiden walked toward Draw, who was still lost in the Mindspace.
You have to admit, the Psychic Bracelet was incredibly useful. If he hadnât had it, Draw would have been desperate to run away, and Aiden would have needed to use more skills and spend more time to kill him.
Now, with Draw standing still, he was just a lamb ready for slaughter!
"After I kill Draw, the Bane of All Races 2 · Genius Nightmare quest will be almost done. Then, my power will increase even more!" Aiden thought to himself.
He looked back at Hazel. She was gripping the longsword tightly and slowly walking toward the still-begging succubus Alice.
"Shut up!" Hazel shouted.
She raised her golden sword, aiming it right between succubus Aliceâs legs. Her eyes were filled with intense hatred.
But just as she was about to strike, she shifted her aim slightly upward. The blade pierced straight into succubus Aliceâs chest.
"Wretch! You are just a wretch!"
"You humans are a creature that should never have existed! Itâs all your fault! Itâs all your fault!" succubus Alice screamed in pain.
Hearing those words, Hazel ripped the golden sword from the wound and suddenly drove it hard between Aliceâs legs.
"Fck you! I wanted to kill you long ago!" she replied.
Seeing this, Aiden nodded in satisfaction. He turned his head and looked at Draw.
A few minutes later, on the dim street, golden fires suddenly burst from the ground.
Aiden resumed his identity as the Slaughter Demon. He held Hazel and moved quickly toward a deserted area.
Blood from succubus Alice still stained Hazelâs face. Her expression was blank and confused, but as she saw Aidenâs perfect jawline, her look slowly turned firm.
Those three Demons were all Mythic Rank Demon genius. Any single one of them could have easily slaughtered her.
But in front of Mr. Aelris, they were just like helpless lambs!
"Mr. Aelris is simply my God!" Hazel thought to herself.
Not only had Mr. Aelris saved her from a life of endless darkness, but he was also so powerfulâfar more perfect than anyone or any Abyss creature she had met before!
Soon, Aiden found a quiet and safe spot and set Hazel down.
Hazel hesitated for a moment, reluctantly letting go of Aidenâs embrace.
She quickly pulled out the root of the Skeleton Tree."Iâm sorry. I was looking for you to give you this, but I almost got in the way," she said.
"This is from Miss Lumina for you."
Aiden casually took the Skeleton Tree root. However, he wasnât too concerned about it and didnât check its info immediately.
Right now, his full attention was on the log messages.
Raphael and Draw really did drop some great items!
