Hearing her words, joy swept over the patient’s family.

Bouncing around, Yangyang asked his ‘Doctor Sister,’ “My mom’s illness is cured, right?”

The greatest concern with this illness is the potential for relapse, so later on, a doctor from thoracic surgery will come to help adjust your mom’s medicines and monitor her cardiac functions and structures to prevent recurrence.” Xie Wanying explained, then thinking back to how Teacher Fu had stayed behind in the operating room to check the surgical records, she felt relieved.

Teacher Fu was very impressive, understanding her intentions with just one glance.

Yangyang took out his school notebook and began jotting down everything Doctor Sister said.

“President Wu said to invite Dr. Tao and Doctor Fu to his home for dinner,” Section Chief Yang announced, “Director Tang, you should come too.”

“No, I won’t be joining,” Director Tang waved his hand with a smile, well aware that the president had other tasks in mind by inviting these young ones to his home, and with his upcoming retirement, he had no interest in joining the buzz.

Section Chief Yang turned around to find Fu Xinheng: “Doctor Fu, did you hear what I said?”

Having heard, Fu Xinheng asked: “Is it just the few of us that the president is inviting?”

Why would the ‘Robot’ ask such a question, Section Chief Yang nodded: “Yes.” Then looking towards Song Xueling on the operation table, he called out, “Doctor Song, you should come too. The president wants to hear your thoughts on our hospital now that it’s been a month.”

Inviting Song Xueling but not planning to invite Xie Wanying?

Was it because they knew she was just a medical student and therefore didn’t extend an invitation?
