“Why don’t you ask her again when she comes out if she is or isn’t?” The people from Guoxi University clearly saw through his act and insisted on exposing him.

“Why would I ask her?”

One of them from Guoxi University turned and called towards the office, “Dr. Xie.”

“Here,” came a doctor’s response. There was more than one doctor with the surname Xie.

After Xie Wanying handed over the consultation form to the doctor on duty in General Surgery Department One, she left first.

Soon, this little episode spread to the neurosurgery department, with news that people from Guoxi University who came to visit were looking for Dr. Xie. This meant that the younger sister, by her performance today, was going to become famous nationwide. Huang Zhilei scratched his head, feeling it getting increasingly difficult to woo the younger sister. Fortunately, Senior Cao had already organized a celebratory dinner for the younger sister tonight.

Getting off work and taking off his white coat, Cao Yong was about to call her when a call came in.

It was from Section Chief Yang, who said, “President Wu invites you to have dinner at his place; he’ll be cooking himself, Teacher Lu will also be there.”
