Until the appearance of Great Pharmacist Samp, Low-Level Life Potions became widespread and were no longer exclusive to Mages. Even someone who was not a Mage, as long as they became a Pharmacist, could create them, resulting in the price of Low-Level Life Potions plummeting, at times even dropping below fifty Gold Coins.
Eventually, the prices gradually rose again due to the monopoly of the nobility. However, even so, the current price of Low-Level Life Potions is around one hundred Gold Coins, at most not exceeding two hundred, giving many people an opportunity.
Even Mid-Level Life Potions, due to the advent of Pharmacist Samp, have also started to decline in price, currently ranging from one thousand to two thousand Gold Coins.
This single action provided countless lower-tier nobles with a chance.
Even middle-tier Viscounts and Counts had a significant possibility.
"Christine?"
"Didnāt she go to the Northern Province? How does she have time to visit this old man?"
As his thoughts turned, Great Pharmacist Samp naturally noticed, but he was already accustomed to it. Hearing the familiar name, his face couldnāt help but show a smile.
Christine was his most talented student, her talent was so strong that he felt it even surpassed his own.
Samp even had a feeling that this student of his possessed the gift to become a Mage, but unfortunately, she was unable to make contact with Mages, nor could she acquire their legacy, which was indeed a pity.
"Let her in!"
With a smile spreading across his face, Great Pharmacist Samp said with a smile.
"Yes!"
The figure responded respectfully, then withdrew.
"Teacher!"
Watching the staff leave, the middle-aged man suppressed his annoyance and spoke again.
"Hijaer, I have told you, I have no interest in vassal nobles."
"I donāt want to repeat these words."
Glancing at the middle-aged man, Samp snorted coldly.
"But teacher!"
The middle-aged man instinctively wanted to speak again, but the old man ignored him and continued with his potion-making.
This made the middle-aged man turn pale, then flush, before finally gritting his teeth and retreating.
As soon as he stepped out, he saw Christine approaching.
"Senior Brother Hijaer!"
Seeing the somewhat awkward figure walking out, Christine asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Christine, long time no see!"
Suppressing his inner frustration, the middle-aged man replied with a smile.
"Senior Brother Hijaer, indeed, it has been a while. Are you here to see the teacher?"
Christine asked with curiosity.
"Yes, Christine, the Campbell Family wants to invite the teacher. I thought it was a good opportunity, so I came to persuade the teacher. You too should help persuade him. The teacher is getting old, and how many more years can he continue making potions? Joining the Campbell Family would be beneficial for both the teacher and his family."
The middle-aged man sighed lightly, speaking softly.
"Senior Brother Hijaer, are you saying the teacher hasnāt joined the Campbell Family yet?"
Hearing the middle-aged manās words, Christine couldnāt help but feel a surge of joy and excitement as she spoke.
"Yes, the teacher still hasnāt agreed."
The middle-aged man, although perplexed, nodded.
"I understand!"
"Thank you, Senior Brother Hijaer. Iāll go pay my respects to the teacher first."
Christine spoke hastily, then quickly headed toward her teacherās place, paying no mind to the other man.
She had been extremely nervous initially, but now she saw a turning point.
Since the teacher hadnāt agreed yet, there was still a chance.
Christine left in a hurry, leaving the middle-aged man somewhat stunned, momentarily agape, unsure of how to respond.
Clearly, Christine wasnāt concerned about any of that anymore.
She quickly reached the door to her teacherās room.
Taking a deep breath, she lightly knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
The familiar voice of her teacher came from within the room.
Christine adjusted herself slightly before slowly opening the door to enter.
"Christine, what brings you back to see this old man after all these years? You havenāt returned for several years now."
The old manās cheerful voice rang out, his hands halting their actions.
However, as his gaze fell upon Christine, his pupils couldnāt help but constrict fiercely.
"Christine, you?"
Sampās gaze continually examined Christine, murmuring words with a hint of astonishment.
"Have you successfully developed your Sea of Consciousness?"
With a blend of hesitation and shock, the old man fixed his eyes intently on Christine.
"Teacher, youāre truly insightful. I have indeed successfully developed my Sea of Consciousness and become a qualified Apprentice Mage."
Christine was somewhat surprised to see her teacher instantly recognize it but still nodded with a smile.
"Hmph!"
"Though your teacherās talent may be lacking, having lived so many years isnāt for nothing. Naturally, I could see it."
"Not bad. It seems your decision to go to the Northern Province was the right one. I was even a bit worried for you, but apparently, it was unnecessary."
The old man chuckled and shook his head.
"Thank you, teacher, for your concern. I am doing well."
"Going to the Northern Province was indeed the right choice."
Christine nodded with a smile, her mind involuntarily thinking of the Eagle Territory, the generous lord, and the esteemed Mage there.
"Hahahaha!"
"Itās good to be right!"
"Come, give me a hand, and let me see if youāve regressed over these years!"
"Donāt use Spiritual Power. Rely on your own senses!"
Samp chuckled and quickly spoke.
"Yes, teacher."
Christine immediately responded, refraining from discussing her intentions, and Samp didnāt inquire either.
The two swiftly became busy.
The potion liquids from various Magic Plants were processed and mixed.
Christine, just as the old man instructed, relied solely on her senses, without utilizing Spiritual Power, to mix the potions.
Yet despite this, as a newly minted Mage, her capabilities in all regards had rapidly improved.
The speed of mixing potions was noticeably faster.
As time slowly passed.
Before long, a bottle of Intermediate Life Potion was successfully mixed.
"Not bad, not bad. It seems being a Mage has greatly benefited you."
"Youāre stronger now than this old man."
The old man nodded with satisfaction and then spoke with a hint of emotion.
Even as a Great Pharmacist, the old man had to admit that Mages are naturally gifted Pharmacists, and for ordinary people to reach a Mageās level seemed nearly impossible.
Christine had just become a Mage, yet her abilities in all aspects seemed not far behind his, especially when it came to mixing Magic Potions.
"Teacher, you flatter me. I am no match for you!"
Christine shook her head with a smile, then spoke with a touch of solemnity.
"Hahaha, you really know how to talk!"
"Now, what brings you to visit this old man today?"
"Please donāt be like that rascal Hijaer. If itās the same reason, then donāt bother saying anything, as you should know I have no interest in being tied to those filthy nobles."
The old man chuckled and shook his head before speaking seriously.
