Chapter 157 - Why are the two of you here?

"Is that her?" Michael said as she gestured towards the woman standing and talking beside Viper on the poolside.

"Yeah, he hit the jackpot this time, didn’t he?" Circle said, a little envious and annoyed at the same time while looking at them.

It was a beautiful woman around mid to late thirties who has a natural red hair color, who probably stands around five feet nine inches, just a couple of inches shorter than Viper. She has a pair of sharp eyebrows, an upturned pair of eyes, a straight edged nose and a plump succulent pair of lips.

"She looks young for her age" Michael said then turned his head towards Circle, "Didn’t you guys say she has kids? How old are they?"

"Hmm...the oldest is a fourteen year old girl attending ninth grade at a nearby private school while the youngest is also a girl, who is seven years old this year" Circle said.

"So where is her ex husband then?"

"From what Miya had told us. Olivia’s ex husband had cheated on her and ran away with a younger woman a few years back. Why? Are you suspicious of her?"

"Of course, Viper suddenly started dating her when you guys told me that he still can’t over his cheating ex wife for many years, and a new woman suddenly appeared by his side from out of nowhere" Michael said a bit worried, it was because he wouldn’t have to worry if he still had the same resources he had before where he could easily look into someone’s life history.

"Kekeke, you worry too much. We already told you that we had looked thoroughly into the details of her life. She’s quite clean, and she only has a little bit of connection to the underground forces because of her work as a famous lawyer, which makes the rich and dangerous people to hire her services if they get themselves into trouble and doesn’t want to go to jail"

"Then doesn’t that mean that she has enemies out there because of the people she had helped before?" Michael rubbed his temples just thinking about those troubles that would certainly implicate them too.

"Kekeke, what are you so worried about? We don’t even care" Circle laughed, then his expression suddenly change into something menacingly dark and said, "Because we’ll just kill them if they even mess with us"

"Geez, we make it sound like we’re bad people" Michael snorted.

"But aren’t we?" Circle chuckled.

"Anyway, where’s Tony? I haven’t seen her anywhere" Michael asked.

"Ohh..she went to pick up some people she had made friends with recently in the game. They’ll probably on the way here by now"

After that, Circle went back to grill and started helping out the others while eating the food at the same time.

"Hey" Emma said while she started walking towards him just after Circle had left.

Michael nodded, "You having fun? The others seems to be"

Harrison are busy eating things from the table filled with food with a delighted look on his face. Rick is looking at them from a corner with hateful eyes, and Tina and Casey are currently being surrounded by guys their age trying to flirt with the two girls, while Dylan...is still on his mission to get laid tonight.

"It would’ve been better if you’re having fun with the one you like" Emma laughed while looking straight at him as she fluttered her pair of blue eyes, trying to hint on something.

"Yeah, having fun with someone you like is the best" Michael just answered as he feigned ignorance from her hints for him to do something.

"Ohh, I think there is something interesting happening over there"

"Huh? Where?"

Michael suddenly pointed towards something and when Emma turned her head towards the direction of where Michael is pointing at, he quickly ran away from her.

"Hey!"

"Grr...this isn’t over yet"

Emma gritted her teeth in anger, as her eyes burned with determination.

"Bastard" Rick gritted his teeth in anger and jealousy, while angrily munching down on his food.

Meanwhile.

"It’s good that I got away from there, that was dangerous" Michael said as he wiped off his nonexistent sweat from his face.

Vroom!

"Huh? Ohh, it’s just Tony" Michael said when she saw a white Mercedes Benz G Wagon coming up from the driveway.

"Ohh Michael, why aren’t you inside?" Tony said the moment she got down from her car.

"That... I just wanted to- Why are the two of with her!?" Michael didn’t even finish what he was about to say when he suddenly saw Jenny and Amanda getting down from Tony’s car.

"What do you mean by that? Are we not welcomed here? Besides we’re Tony’s friends, and I should be the one here asking you, why are you also here?" Jenny scoffed at Michael, while Amanda just looked at Michael with a surprised look on her face.

"Haa..nevermind. So you are the two people that Circle was just telling me about earlier" Michael said helplessly, while rubbing his temples.

’Gahh, life has become even more complicated now that Jenny and Amanda got themselves acquainted with Tony, so this is what they call the butterfly effect’

Then Michael glanced at Amanda, where the latter immediately averted her eyes from him.

’But it isn’t bad if you think about it, Amanda could at least ask for Tony’s help in the off chance that something bad would happen to me’

"Wow, I didn’t know you guy knows each other," Tony said, as she looked at Michael with a mischievous grin on her face when she noticed the weird look on both the faces of Amanda and Michael earlier when they looked at each other.

’So she’s the Amanda that you were talking about huh?’

’Yes, she’s that Amanda’

Tony and Michael are literally talking with each other with their eyes.

"Yes, even I’m surprised to see him here of all places" Jenny scoffed with her arms crossed.

"Come on, we shouldn’t be standing here. Let’s go inside and I’ll introduce you two to the others" Tony said as she led the two of them inside while Michael quickly followed after them and walked beside Amanda.

"Hi there, didn’t expect that we’d bump into each other again" Michael raid while scratching the back of his head...his current actions are thoroughly out of his character right now.

"Yes, and thank you for always patronising my shop" Amanda said as she smiled happily at Michael.

Michael suddenly halted in his steps as he wore a disbelieving look on his face, and he just watched their disappearing backs as they made their way inside the house.

"Did...did I suddenly got friend zone right there?"

"Nah, she was probably just thanking me for being a regular customer...right?"

Michael once again brightened up when he got into the conclusion that he was probably just reading too deeply to what she has just said to him.

’God! I want really to tell her how much I love her eveytime I see her!’
