Chapter 441: Villains Die

Olivia and Summer had just boarded the police cruiser that was meant to escort them to the station when they heard the voice of a distress officer coming from the radio, and both women couldn’t help but look at each other.

“I’ll immediately drop you off at the station ma’am”

“Alright”

Olivia answered with a nod, even Summer who was very talkative earlier had grown silent when she felt the weird atmosphere in the air.

As the cruiser drove along the road, Olivia couldn’t help but suddenly feel worried when she finally remembered that the Hotel they were staying at is near the 86th Street where the police and the armed militants are fighting, especially now that Cathy and Randy were probably already at the hotel where he was supposed to drop her off for the night.

So she immediately took out her phone and called her daughter.

[M-mom! There are people shooting down the next block!]

It didn’t even take two seconds for the call to get through when the distress voice of Cathy immediately came through from the other side.

“Are you okay?! Where are you right now!?” asked the worried mother.

[I’m hiding inside my room, but wait, what about Summer mom!?]

Olivia was really worried as she could even hear the sound of gunshots coming from the call, “She’s fine, she’s beside me right now, we got her quick. Anyway, where’s Randy? Is he with you?”

[He went out almost an hour ago, he said he was going somewhere to buy something]

Hearing her answer, Olivia immediately felt annoyed and really wanted to punch Randy right now for his absence, especially in this time of emergency where her eldest daughter is left by herself near a battlefield.

“Anyway, I’m calling Randy, so I’m hanging up. Just stay inside your room and don’t go out until I call you, I’m sending someone to come pick you up in a minute to get you out of there, okay?”

[Don’t worry about me mom, they’re far away from here so I’d like to think we’re safe right now]

“Just stay put, you hear me?”

[Alright mom]

The call ended, and Olivia immediately dialed Randy’s number.

[Hello babe?]

“Where are you!? There’s a shooting happening near the hotel and Cathy is by herself!” Olivia immediately yelled at him the moment the call got picked up, and at the same time, she was slightly confused because she was hearing people yelling from the other side of the call, followed by something heavy falling down the floor.

“You better get your as* moving or you’re gonna get it from me later!”

[Uhh..give me a few minutes babe! I’m almost there! I’m hanging up]

“Don;t you dare hang-”

“Hello? Randy! Damn you!”

Olivia was so angry that she couldn’t help but start yelling, startling the officer, but then she noticed Summer looking at her with disbelief painted all over her face.

Olivia was so embarrassed that she immediately apologized to her, “I’m sorry about that baby”

Summer immediately smiled brightly and replied,”It’s okay mom, I’ve heard worse”

In one of the hallways of the Brinton Hotel, Randy had gotten careless and was held at gunpoint by his nephew and his men. His sniper rifle is even missing, so its either he had thrown it away or was lost during their first encounter.

“Was that your new woman calling you? It seems I’ll be having a new f*ckbuddy after this”

“Dray…you better shut that disgusting mouth of yours, you little twerp”

“Even in the face of imminent death, you’re still quite the arrogant person, uncle. Let’s just stop this, you don’t have any chance of escaping from us anymore”

Randy slowly tucked his phone away after answering Olivia’s call while glaring at the man before him that’s wearing a hoodie and in an all black attire, laughing at him while pointing a handgun towards him.

“Hahaha!”

Looking at the people pointing their guns at him, then at his nephew with that arrogant smirk on his face as if he had won, Randy couldn’t help but start laughing.

Hearing his laugh, Dray grew slightly irritated as he felt like he was being mocked at, “What are you laughing at?! Kill him!”

“Hold it!”

Everyone was about to open fire at Dray;s command when Randy suddenly yelled for them to stop as he abruptly raised his hand towards them like he’s about to do a palm blaster like Iron Man, such actions from him made them hesitate to pull the trigger as they all simultaneously looked at their boss.

Dray chuckled and said, “Is it a dying wish? Go ahead while I’m still in a good mood. After all, me and my brothers will have a great time after this! After all, it took us years to find you and plan all of this, just to kill you!”

“Dying wish? No, I just want to remind you that a lot of villains die because they talk too much, and also, since when did you start bringing someone who looks like he’s going to a Halloween party?” laughed Randy while gesturing at something behind Dray with his lips.

Dray and his men was clearly confused by his words since they clearly remember that no one among them is dressed up for a Halloween party, and Randy doesn’t know what was going on their minds, but he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw that this group of dumbas*ess who were on the verge of completing their goal, actually turned their heads around and gave a quick look behind them!

“Fools!”

Bang! Bang! Bang!

An evil smirk slowly crept up on his face, and with a yell, Randy quickly ran towards the nearby door leading to the emergency staircase and gave it a powerful kick as a hail of bullets trailed behind him. He quickly dashed past the door and slammed it behind him as the bullets struck the wall and the door, though there’s one bullet that managed to graze his back.

“Fools! Such a simple trick and all of you fell for it! It seems you’re not meant to kill me tonight you little twerp! Hahaha!”

“What are you still standing there for?! After him! We don’t have much time left!”

Laughing as he yelled those words, Randy immediately ran down the stairs.

On the other hand, Dray and his men slammed the door open after him, and his men quickly went down after Randy, while Dray and Nash stayed behind.

“F*ck! I got carried away! I should have killed him right there and then!”
