"I know a lot of employees who are already looking for a better job, and they’re very skilled. I’ll send you their emails later. As for whether or not you can win them over, that’ll be up to you."

"No problem."

Lin Shen smiled confidently.

"I plan on offering them 1.5 times their current salary. With that, why wouldn’t they jump ship?"

Qin Yuenan was taken aback by Lin Shen’s words. From a business standpoint, his approach felt a little off.

"You don’t need to offer such a high salary at the start. That’ll just increase the company’s operating costs, and you’ll have to give them raises later anyway."

"You can give them a decent raise and then focus on providing good benefits, like a proper lunch break, afternoon tea, and things like that. I believe most people who want to switch jobs are leaving because of a poor work environment at their old company."

"I’ll handle this. Don’t worry, we won’t be losing much."

"You really have more money than you know what to do with, don’t you?"

Qin Yuenan said teasingly, but she didn’t interfere any further.

After all, Shennan was ultimately Lin Shen’s company. At the end of the day, she was just an "employee."

"I hired a secretary."

"A woman. You know her, too."

But Xu Lei was an exception.

But for a secretary, she might be a good choice.

She was focused and punctual, never late coming in or leaving, and always completed assigned tasks on time.

Furthermore, her clean and tidy desk suggested she was diligent and organized in her personal life.

Add to that her social butterfly nature that allowed her to get along with everyone, and she seemed quite suited for the role of secretary.

Qin Yuenan’s eyes, full of suspicion, narrowed.

"I seem to recall she has a boyfriend, and they’re already engaged."

"I don’t have any feelings for her. The problem is how easily she could fall for me!"

"Since you’ve already hired her, what are you asking me for? Did you decide to act first and ask for permission later?"

"If you’re against it, I’ll just have Xu Lei do something else. You can help me pick someone new."

"I can’t be bothered to pick one for you."

She knew full well her boyfriend had a wandering eye, so she didn’t make a big deal about it.

In fact, she was even relieved that Lin Shen’s secretary was Xu Lei and not some unfamiliar, beautiful woman.
