"You’re not going back? Where are you going?" Lin Wanwan asked with concern.

Yan Yufei winked at Lin Wanwan with a playful smile, "I’ll tell you a secret, I actually have a boyfriend, but his identity needs to be kept secret, so I haven’t told you guys. Just say I went home."

Lin Wanwan was a bit surprised at first, but quickly understood, "Oh, okay, I got it. Take care of yourself."

"Wanwan, are you tired?" Xiao Chong smiled as he took her hand.

Lin Wanwan shook her head, "Not really, it’s just that I’m not used to wearing high heels, so I changed into flats as soon as it was over."

Then she opened WeChat to show Xiao Chong the newly received 500 bucks, "Look, I earned 500 bucks in such a short time. Yufei is the lead and got over a thousand; she’s amazing. Several girls were recruited through her."

"Hmm, not bad, that’s impressive," Xiao Chong nodded with a smile, seeing Lin Wanwan so happy made him happy too.

"Let’s go eat Haagen-Dazs ice cream, my treat today," Lin Wanwan excitedly tugged Xiao Chong towards the Haagen-Dazs store up ahead.

Xiao Chong laughed, "Alright, my Wanwan’s made some money, so I’ll be a gold digger."

They went in and ordered an ice cream set, which cost Lin Wanwan 128 bucks, quite a splurge.

The two sat at a small round table inside, feeding each other without a care in the world, drawing quite a bit of attention.

As a visually pleasing couple, they had grown accustomed to the attention from those around them.

As long as the glances weren’t hostile, Xiao Chong didn’t pay them much heed.

After finishing the ice cream, Xiao Chong said, "Wanwan, it’s getting cold. Since we’re at the mall, let’s get you some clothes."

Lin Wanwan checked the time, it wasn’t even 9 PM yet, so there was still time. But she felt she didn’t need new clothes and said, "It’s getting late, and it’ll take time to get back to school. If the dorm closes, maybe we shouldn’t buy anything."

Xiao Chong leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Then let’s not go back to the dorm, let’s go to our own place."

Half of Lin Wanwan’s face turned red immediately, and she stepped away from Xiao Chong quickly, "I want to go back to the dorm."

Xiao Chong reached out with his long arms, pulling her back, wrapping her shoulders, and pushing her into the store next door, "Wanwan, you’re still wearing high school sportswear; it doesn’t suit you anymore."

Lin Wanwan couldn’t match his strength and had to follow him in.

Inside the store, there weren’t many people. As soon as Lin Wanwan and Xiao Chong walked in, they drew several scanning gazes.

Today, Lin Wanwan was wearing the autumn sportswear she had from her high school, a very simple outfit.

Her grandfather had bought it for her from a discount at the physical foreign trade store next to their home three years ago, and it was pilling at frequently used spots.

The phone in her hand was also a brand her grandfather bought for around two thousand, and she didn’t carry anything of significant value.

In contrast, Xiao Chong was dressed in obviously expensive clothes, and his aura suggested he was a regular at such stores.

Then a woman with a notably high nose approached Xiao Chong quickly, asking what he was looking for.

Xiao Chong replied, "We’ll just take a look ourselves."

The high-nosed woman blushed slightly, "Alright, please feel free to browse."

Lin Wanwan didn’t feel much about it; she had always been easygoing. She walked around the racks and found a tweed coat she really liked, so she asked the high-nosed woman, "Could you please let me try this in size M?"

The high-nosed woman’s tone was sarcastic, "We don’t have size M here, only numeric sizes."

Lin Wanwan calmly looked at her, "Then I’ll try the numeric size equivalent to an M."

The high-nosed woman discreetly rolled her eyes, "This one’s expensive, are you sure you want to try it?"

Upon hearing it was expensive, Lin Wanwan furrowed her brow, thinking of giving up.

Xiao Chong, however, said, "Try it."

The high-nosed woman instantly changed her expression, smiling warmly, "Alright, sir, please wait a moment."

Lin Wanwan turned her head to glance at Xiao Chong, feeling a bit speechless.

She took off her sports jacket, revealing a white T-shirt underneath, and put on the tweed short coat. Her demeanor instantly became sweeter, though it didn’t quite match her sports pants.
