[ Iona: Poison Lord is real. It spreads miasma that disables healing. Our Priests couldnât cast for a long time... Had to retreat and regroup. ]
Natalie frowned. She hadnât heard of Poison-type Lords before. Boros was already a nightmare, and now there were others with elemental traits?
Still, she couldnât help but feel impressed with how so many people had the time to open the Regional Chat... After all, every horde of Zombies should deal some damage in their shelter. It would also cause some injuries.
She thought that only those in a position like hers who needed updated information would be online. However, most of the people in the chat werenât even Clan Leaders...
She typed quickly.
[ Natalie: New Haven Shelter has eliminated Zombie Lord Boros. A Lightning Type... No signs of additional Lords in our sector yet. Stay alert. ]
The chat responded instantly.
[ Tori: Whoa. You took down a Lightning Zombie Lord? Thatâs cool. Do you mind sharing the loot? ]
[ Lance: Respect. We had a Lightning Zombie King come to us... We never had a Zombie Lord, but I know that it was not easy. ]
[ Kris: Please share the Loot! If you have Lightning Attribute Sword, I am willing to purchase it or trade it with three Epic Items and one Legendary Item! ]
Seeing Epic or Legendary Items was certainly not that easy. However, Rare or Exceptional Items could reach that rarity once they are upgraded.
However, those items would only obtain stronger effects, durability, and power... but they would not gain a new attribute!
That was the reason why weapons or items with attributes like Lightning, Fire, Petrification, and others, were more precious than Legendary Grade items that donât have any special attributes, even if their rarity was only Rare or even Uncommon.
[ Jun: Can I ask how you defeated the Lightning Zombie Lord. Do you have someone with you who has Rubber Talent or something? ]
[ Leo: What? ]
[ Jamina: Donât mind him Leo... if New Havenâs holding, thatâs good news. We had her Bishops here in our shelter, and they were doing well. ]

Natalie kept her eyes on the scrolling feed...
[ Rami: Weâre down to 100 people. Sector 14, near the Lighthouse... We lost our healer and our barrier collapsed. We are heading towards the nearest Neutral Shelter. For those people selling expensive potions, please lower the price for now. Itâs an emergency. We donât have enough Zombie Cores. ]
[ Hermes: I lowered all the prices of my product... Grab it now before others do. ]
[ Kris: Bruh. You shouldâve made a trade instead. So they get the potions for sure. ]
[ Hermes: I donât want the trade tax. Itâs too high. ]
[ Elric: I just realized that Iâm actually lucky. Our shelterâs intact, but weâre out of ammo. Weâve been using spears and reinforced pipes. If anyone has ranged weapons or even arrows, weâll take them. ]
[ Tasha: Weâre holding, but barely. The last wave broke through our second wall. We had to collapse the tunnel to stop them. Now weâre sealed in. ]
[ Rami: You collapsed your own tunnel? Thatâs brutal. ]
[ Tasha: It was either that or lose the shelter crystal. We had no choice. I just hope that no Earth Zombies would dig through here. ]
[ Elric: Donât worry... If youâre hidden well, itâs fine. You might even get to complete a hidden quest or something. Keep it up. Just make sure that you have enough oxygen. ]
[ Hermes: Is this Zombie Horde related to our population? ]
[ Kris: Itâs not population. Itâs threat rating. If your shelter has high-value items or rare talents, the system sends stronger waves. ]
[ Jun: Thatâs true. We got hit hard after we placed 7 Legendary Grade Barriers. Itâs like the system noticed and punished us. ]
Natalie noted that. Threat rating mechanics werenât fully documented, but the survivors were piecing it together through experience. She flagged the conversation for later review.
[ Tasha: Does anyone know how long the Red Night ever pauses? A while ago, it gave us 20 minutes... Then 10 minutes... Now itâs 15 minutes rest... How does it really work? ]
[ Jamina: It doesnât pause. Only the Zombie Wave Event has intervals. Red Night is continuous... Just kidding... Our pauses are quite different... Mostly 10 minutes rest. Just enough to eat the noodles that boost stamina. ]
[ Rami: Then weâre not going to make it. We need reinforcements. Or evacuation. ]
[ Elric: Evacuation will be very difficult... I hope you dug an underground bunker before the event began. Leaving your shelter is just too dangerous. ]
[ Kris: I envy those with Flight or Underground Burrowing Talents. They have a higher chance of escaping. Oh, lord. Why did you give me Aura Mastery Talent? ]
[ Jun: Whoa~ Aura Mastery? If you just train harder, youâd be an absolute unit. My Talent is the worst. I donât even know how I managed to survive till this day. I only have Uncommon Talent, Scent Controller! Iâm only good at hiding my scent! That doesnât affect those Zombies who relied on detections! Furthermore, most zombies couldnât use their noses anyway! ]
Natalie didnât respond as she read through the chat...
[ Tasha: If anyone has spare Spirit Stones, weâll trade barrier fragments, zombie cores, or even crafting schematics. Weâre not asking for charity. Just a chance to survive. ]
[ Rami: Same. We have a few rare items. Weâll trade anything for Spirit Stones. Just send help. ]
It was at this point that Shane started chatting again.
[ Shane: I just listed Spirit Stones in the Marketplace. Go to your system tab, open Marketplace, and filter by "Essentials." Theyâre under my seller name... I lowered the price for now. ]
[ Rami: Youâre the seller? Thank you! I just bought two from another person... So expensive... I will check now. ]
[ Tasha: Found it. Bought one. Youâre a lifesaver. Literally. ]
[ Kris: Wait... youâre selling them
now
? During Red Night? Thatâs bold. ]
[ Shane: I stocked up before the event. I figured people would need them more than I do. Iâm not hoarding. Just trying to help. ]
[ Natalie: Respect. Most sellers are doubling prices right now. Youâre keeping it fair. ]
