Shane was curious about this matter. "Failed?"
"Yes... There were eight Zombie Lords here before... The five were killed several months ago."
"Ahh? Is that so?" Shane muttered as he didnât expect that there were so many in one place!
He couldnât help but admire the reckless Clan who had decided to attack this place! They mustâve suffered a huge casualty because of that.
âEight Lords... and five already slain... I wonder how many Survivors were sacrificed for that to happen...â
"Which clan did it?" he asked sharply.
Katrina hesitated, then spoke the name. "It was the Drakeheart Vanguard."
Shane froze... He didnât expect that Travis would actually be here!
This place was incredibly far from his main shelter after all.
âBut that made sense...â He mused.
The Drakeheart Vanguard was not a minor clan, they were one of the most feared and respected forces among the Survivors.
Through the World Chat, he was already aware that his Clan was always hunting for Zombie Lords for obvious reasons.
After all, they have a lot of Reputation Points, Experience Points, and most importantly, loot!
The Zombie Lord gives a 100% Drop Rate, and anyone who would surely want to hunt them.
In any case, if they had managed to kill five Zombie Lords, it explained why the remaining three were so guarded. They probably didnât want to get invaded again.
Shane clenched his fist as he wanted to be the one to completely clear this Zombie Lord Territory and find out whatever was inside that metal gate.
Katrina watched him carefully.
"They lost many in the attempt. Hundreds died. And even then, they couldnât breach the gate. The three Lords remained, guarding it as if nothing had happened."
Shane nodded.
â
If Drakeheart Vanguard failed, but Travis didnât die, they might have another attempt to raid this place...â
After some hesitation, Shane opened his system interface, navigated to Friends, tapped Travisâs name, and sent a message immediately.
[ Shane: Travis... I found a Zombie Lord territory in the eastern region here. I heard there were eight Zombie Lords here before, and you killed five already. Are you planning to raid it again? Or can I have a go? ]
Shane sent the message and closed the panel, intending to check the Regional Chat or World Chat for updates across the continent.
But to his surprise, Travis replied almost instantly, as if he had been waiting at his Chat menu.
[ Travis: Ohh! More than 50 of my Clones died there! You can have it! Just let me know whatever you find inside that gate. I plan to explore it after gathering soldiers in 3 months, but thatâs too long. You can have it. I will not agree if it was Lancelot making the request, but if itâs you... Go ahead! ]
Shane smirked at the reply, then typed back.
[ Shane: Awesome... Can you tell me more about the remaining Zombie Lords there? ]
Travisâs response came quickly again.
[ Travis: Three left. Theyâre different from the usual ones. Knightâtypes. Theyâre disciplined, armored, and they fight in formation. They waited for my troops to inhale more toxins before they made their move. Right, careful of the miasma. They will come out once the battle starts. They donât just rely on brute strength, they coordinate with the lesser zombies. Thatâs why theyâre harder to deal with. When we fought them, they moved like generals commanding an army. ]
[ Travis: Each one has a unique aura. One specializes in defense, another in speed, and the last in command. The Commander Lord is the most dangerous, it can rally the other zombies, even KingâTiers, into perfect synchronization. Thatâs what cost me so many Clones. ]
Shaneâs eyes narrowed as he read the details.
[ Shane: Hmmm... Knight Lords with discipline and command skills. That explains the formation Fiona saw. Thanks, Travis. Iâll handle it. And donât worry, Iâll share whatever I find inside BioGenix. ]
Travis seemed satisfied with that and swiftly replied.
[ Travis: Good. I knew youâd say that. If anyone can clear that gate, itâs you. Just donât underestimate them, Shane. Even three Lords can wipe out a fortress if youâre careless. ]

Shane, already inside the chat interface, decided to open the World Chat.
Instantly, dozens of messages scrolled across his panel, survivors from all over the continent talking at once.
[ Marcus: Anyone got info on the loot drop from the Bonecrusher King? Heard itâs guaranteed Epic Armor? I donât want to waste resources if Iâm not getting the Armor. ]
[ Solen: Forget Bonecrusher, Iâm hunting the Frost Tyrant in the northern wastes. My Clan needed more fighters. If youâre Level 40+ and near our region, join us now! We will give you Shadow Dash Potion! You can use this Skill for 1 month if you consume it! ]
[ Yusef: Damn it! A survivor named "Niles" robbed our shelter last night. Took 3 Barrier Generators, dozens of Power Cores, and our harvest for this season! Weâve put a bounty on his head! 5,000 Zombie Cores to whoever kills him. 15,000 Zombie Cores if you manage to kill him and bring back what he had stolen from us. ]
[ Ester: Looking for the Silverleaf Herb. Itâs rare, grows near the Blue Treeâs zones. I need it for a healing brew. Will trade Spirit Stones. I do not trade in Marketplace. I can send my familiar to you. ]
[ Niles: Hah! Idiot Yusef! If you canât guard your loot, donât cry when itâs stolen. ]
[ Gram: Shut up, Niles. Easy to talk since you have Absolute Invisibility Talent. Try entering the Rank 1 Survivorâs Shelter and rob there if you dare. ]
[ Niles: Haha! Want me to rob Shaneâs Shelter? Deal! I will get one of his Warden Units. Those Androids could surely sell for a high price. I will do it later! ]
[ Amira: Does anyone know if the Siren King Zombie drops anything useful? We killed one, but all we got were six terrible items. Iâm not sure if weâre unlucky or theyâre really terrible. ]
[ Travis: Siren Zombies drop Echo Shards if youâre lucky. Combine them with any blade weapons for sound-based ability. Make sure to find a high-grade Crafter for that. ]
[ Travis: Niles... Are you really thinking of robbing one of Shaneâs shelters? Thatâs brave. ]
